A recent set of system updates appears to have made most website videos not play in Firefox.

When I inspect the Developer Tools - > Console tab the most detail Firefox gives are an error line similar to: Media resource URL could not be decoded, error: Error Code: NS_ERROR_DOM_MEDIA_METADATA_ERR (0x806e0006)

Internet searches for the error name and error hex do not appear yield any applicable troubleshooting, nor any methods of collecting additional problem data.

How can I obtain more detail on where the error is happening and how Firefox might be interacting with other packages present on my system?

Arch Linux has some older ffmpeg-compat packages, but those don't appear to match any of the web results, in that they're even older versions of ffmpeg.

Hi! I was wondering why nearly every single page these days opens to the message :

"400 Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. Apache Server at canvas.instructure.com Port 80"

Nearly every link I click on a website refuses to open! It has become impossible to do school work on this browser because I can't open any link on my school website, and nearly every website struggles to open except from google. I know the links work because I copy/paste them into Google Chrome and they open immediately. Truth be told I prefer Firefox and would much rather keep using this browser! I also can't find an update for Firefox so I believe my Browser is up to date (and I know my laptop is up to date and virus free). Is there a fix coming soon? Or a setting I can change to be able to open links? Classes start this week and I'm stuck!

Hi, I have tried to create a google account two times. Each time Firefox didn't save the google account name.

Firefox did save the password though. Just the username is empty. So, the third time I will write down the username.

I know how to create a Google account. Pretty sure it will work. My question is, why is this happening? Am I paranoid thinking Google doesn't like to support Firefox?

I am facing an issue in one website, on mozilla firefox. whenever I access the site on other browsers it is working fine but when I access that site on firefox it's speed becomes very slow and sometimes breaks the site. Is this because of some cookies or that site have issue?

Hi, I have a custom build website, I do make changes consistently, But these changes aren't showing properly on firefox immediately. But on other browsers, these changes are shown immediately. Also the website few sections does not load well on this browser. I want to the website to load properly on every browser, as Mozilla has a good number of users too. here is my Salers website link so if you can check if there is a problem there. Hi all 👋 I'm using the Universal Credit website - https://www.universal-credit.service.gov.uk When I receive a message, sometimes there's a radio button to "Reply", which initially opens in the center of the page as normal, but as soon as I place the cursor in the box, it shoves it off to the side and shrinks it. This has been going on for a while, but as I found work for the last 6 months, I haven't been interacting with the site. I had to reply this morning and had the same issue, so I thought to try opening it in Chrome and had no such issue.

Before I go down the Nuclear route with the "Refresh" option, as I have enough on my plate already, does anyone understand this issue and have any idea for a fix for me, please?

This morning, for the very first time in 12 years, I opened my hotmail/outlook email tab and got a completely blank white screen, and nothing more. I've restarted my laptop twice, just to see if it was a Windows glitch. Nope. I disabled ad blockers with the little shield in front of the URL--still no change.

I love Firefox and prefer to use nothing else. However, I tried to open my email with Edge and it works fine. It also works fine on my older computer that did NOT get the Firefox update, so something is amiss here. Firefox updated recently on this machine and I'm wondering if something went wrong in the update. I'm not very tech savvy, but can anyone help me?

Using MX-21.3_ahs_x64 Wildflower. Since upgrading Firefox to version 116.0.3 all links within www.onlinetvrecorder.com do not work anymore. No messages, no hints what happened, just not working. Vivaldi has the same problem, Chrome works. I have asked in mozillazine, but did not get an answer.

Starting today I am finding it extremely hard to login to some websites. All Firefox does is just sit with a spinning circle after entering a user name and it locks up the browser to a point the I have to go to the Task Manager to stop the FireFox process. I have restarted my computer and refreshed FireFox. I have scanned my computer for malware using Norton 360, Malwarebytes, MSERT, and Windows Defender and all negative. I am having no trouble signing in to a site like https://my.account.sony.com using Edge but using FireFox now is impossible. This needs to be fixed.

I get this message when trying to access this site: "We can’t connect to the server at www2.optumrx.com"

I can then go to another browser, like Edge and I have no problem accessing the site. I am using a Windows 11 Lenovo computer running Firefox 120. This problem just started to occur.

Accessing mail.yahoo.com as I have for many years, recently many functions do not work in Yahoo mail with Windows 10. Cannot select a message, cannot reply or forward, cannot go back to messages clicking the "back" arrow, cannot select the settings button. Yahoo mail works correctly in Chrome however. How to fix??

This should sound familiar.... It's copied from a 2 year old thread on the FF boards. I cleared the cache and flushed all my cookies. I removed my recently added addon (Malware Bytes). Problem still there.

Indigo Slate has created an interactive site for our client but on Firefox browsers on both Windows and Mac the interactive I i frames are non-responsive and often blurred out: https://exploresurface.com/#/en-us/touchscreen-display is one example of many on the site we have created. This issue does not occur with Chrome, Opera, or Microsoft Edge.

On gmail "https://mail.google.com/mail"

I am already logged into my main account, when I click on my profile picture in the top right in order to add accounts/sign into other gmail accounts, I get this error:

"403. That’s an error.

We're sorry, but you do not have access to this page. That’s all we know."

I tried clearing cookies and no help.

Bare in mind this is on a fresh firefox install on a new desktop, I have been using firefox on my other desktop with no gmail issues like this.

this is definitely a unique issue i have not ever had, LOL

i'm running into a very strange issue where only the roblox page is not loading properly. everything else seems to work just fine; trying to load roblox on google chrome works fine too! ive turned off my extensions and run it in troubleshoot mode, i've updated the browser and my pc and my drivers, nothing seems to want to fix it. i'm not very sure what's going on. it's very funny, but definitely troublesome- the website is not navigatable in this state.

it randomly popped up like this last night, i was under the impression roblox itself was down because my friend in the call at the time had been talking about how slow the site is. upon digging deeper and asking around, nobody else is having the issue i'm having so i'm lead to believe its a me issue
