On nytimes.com some page elements are missing like pictures. the onepiecedle page just displays the background.

I tested troubleshoot mode, private window, etp off, private window, hardware accel. on/off, nothing seems to work.

After applied Chinese Language Pack, the menu didn't change ,even after restart firefox or the system. I tried refresh firefox and re-install the language pack, the same situation appeared.

I have previously exported my bookmarks in an HTML file. When reinstalling Firefox, I tried to import them using the HTML backup file. It says that 309 bookmarks have been found, but nothing changes on the bookmarks bar, still showing the "Import bookmarks" bookmark. These are very important bookmarks I would really like to get back, can you help me please ?

I cannot open the uwyo.edu website on my Firefox browser. I have no problems with other browsers. I tried and checked the solutions people shared, but none of them worked for me. I checked the DNS and different networks, and I also checked the link below:

That happens also in safe mode, but not with Chrome.

Bought a new computer. All my toolbar bookmarks migrated across successfully. Sidebar symbol missing from the menu bar and I couldn't find where these Book Marks were at first. But then I right clicked on the menu bar, clicked on Manage Book Marks which opened a Library box and there they were. Does anyone know an easier way to access them please? Any tips gratefully received. Thanks, Bob

I've migrated to Firefox from Chrome and am getting everything as close as possible to my Chrome setup. This is a usability issue when I zoom on an image, that has a larger version. Chrome allows me to zoom to the full extent of the image, but Firefox screen shakes and doesn't allow the same detail. Screen recording and links below.

Since an update from a few days ago (May 2024), my address bar/search bar is now basically outside of my PC screen, see here: https://vimeo.com/948314161

It's not a local problem, it's also happening on other PCs/Laptops I have.

How can I fix this? PS should the answer be that I need an add-on or anything like that, then it's bye bye Firefox, hello Chrome

I was in the middle of asking this question when I fixed (worked around) the problem so I'm posting more as a informative post as there is a lot of old misdirection out there now.

I am(was) unable to drag any URLs from the URI drop down field in the main interface to my bookmarks toolbar. Nor was any drag and drop functionality working in the "Customise Firefox" screen (right click space on url bar -> Customise Toolbar).

I have now found that resetting my zoom setting in preferences to 100% restores this functionality. The problem arose when I was using 120% zoom, NOT text only.

When I'm in full screen mode, The Apple, "Firefox" "File" "Edit" "View" "History" "Bookmarks" "Tools" etc menu bar shows up at the top and won't disappear. On my iMac Pro, it doesn't show up. i.e. Off.

I can't figure out what is the setting to make sure it does not appear. I went digging everywhere and can't figure it out. If you could tell me what config, etc I'm missing I'd appreciate it.

I have been working for Data Annotation for nearly a month and never got this error before. I need this money for rent! I'm trying really hard not to freak out here but today is the deadline for rent and the only way I'll get that money is to log on to this website so I need help and I need it now.

Whenever I try to write anything into the address bar the suggestions cover it completely and I can't see what I am writing, see Picutre1!

However when I launch the browser in troubleshoot mode from the help menu, everything works fine, see Picture2.

The only addon I have installed is Youtube adBlock. There are two plugins running, a codec by sisco systems and a decrypt module by google.

Could somebody help me with this problem?

FireFox assumes that text size is the same for all pages in a domain, rferl.org for example. That is _not_ true. If I have set size to 50% and then take a link to a page that's different and have to set size to 67% to read it, when I return to the original page, size is 67% and text is too large.

Hi! I'm using Firefox 126.0 on Fedora 39.

Pages from Amazon.co.uk load very slowly, incompletely, or not at all. All other Web sites are fine.

I had a couple of certificate-related errors saying that the identity of the site couldn't be verified, but I can't reproduce the problem, so I can't quote the exact wording, I'm afraid.

The same Amazon pages load properly in Chrome on the same machine, and they load properly in Firefox in a VM on the same machine. That tells me network connectivity must be fine.

I've tried disabling all extensions, reverting to the default theme, running in Troubleshoot Mode, clearing cookies and site data, clearing the startup cache, disabling hardware acceleration, and creating a new profile. The new profile helps slightly, in that it loads more of the page before getting stuck. Nothing else helps at all.

I'd prefer not to refresh Firefox if I can avoid it, because I don't want to lose all my plugins and settings. This installation is five years old. Besides, a new profile didn't fix the problem.

What's the next thing to try? I'd really appreciate any ideas.

Hi, it has been a while that one of the updates on firefox removed the ability to navigate using the middle click, i waited and waited for some day an update drop and fix that but it's been a while and nothing has come, i was sure to test this on another computer and it didn't worked as well so i'm pretty sure firefox has some problems, i mainly use a drawing tablet because i don't have a mouse, so navigating is a bit hard without the usual middle click nagivation(i'm not sure if there is an actual name to that), please help

I would like to force spellcheck for all websites, and override any HTML code from the websites. which may be disabling it. This should be done automatically and not by inspecting and manually altering the HTML. I consulted with ChatGPT and tried adding some code to my existing userChrome.css but it is having no effect, even after clearing cache and restarting Firefox. For instance, faxzero.com has a form with spellcheck disabled. I tinkered with the CSS and kept testing faxzero, but the spellcheck always remains disabled. How can I accomplish my goal?

Just today, I can no longer access the Amazon website. The pages load halfway and then it just churns/spins and never completes loading the page. So far I've discovered no other websites that have the same problem.

I am able to access the Amazon website on three other browsers - Edge, Brave and DuckDuckGo - with no problems and normal loading speed. I don't use Chrome, so I can't speak to that.

I've tried clearing the cache and that did not help. I had a Firefox update installed a couple of days ago. Don't know how long it had been sitting there, as Firefox is almost always open and doesn't have the opportunity to update until I close everything and restart my computer, which I did a couple of days ago.

Firefox is synced on all my computers. Same version. Same extensions. I can't login on my primary desktop as of last night 5/23/24. I can login/watch Prime on my laptop. My desktop gives me the attached error.
