Greetings- I was using my browser (single window, three open tabs) and I checked task manager - Firefox has several concurrent processes running and I don't understand. I understand the sandbox and one process having several child processes, but this I believe is suspect.

I also noticed that in the "Security at a glance" window in Win11, my icons have changed - there's a weird white box on most of the security icons. I'm thinking I may be under some sort of virus/trojan, etc., yet I've ran antivirus even in prior to boot and got nothing

Since the latest version of Firefox I cannot simply open attachments to Yahoo emails. I have to waste time to download and save the attachments before I can view them. How can this be fixed? Or, how can I download a previous version of Firefox and not have any updates?

Since the update to FF 98.0 I cannot click on a .zip file & have it open to Windows File Explorer. It only allows me to download & save the .zip file and then extract the files from there. I have to click on dozens of these files per day for my job & would rather not have to save each .zip file & then extract the file contents. In Settings > Applications, .zip files are not on the list of file types or applications. Is there a way to add them to the list? Is there some other work-around? Thank you!

Hello, when I try to login into various services, such as Outlook, the browser fails to log in and does not redirect to the logged in page. I'm using Firefox 98.0 on Manjaro 5.15.25-1. I tried uninstalling firefox and deleting all the data but the problem remains the same.

I cannot set how to manage downloads of Word, Excel etc. They all automatically save. The options as to how to deal with them has disappeared from the manage downloads box in Tools/settings.

I Can't open my company website using Firefox. Works perfectly with Chrome and Safari.

Hi I am using a e-mail system from NextGentel. My e-mail addres looks like this; chkj@broadpark.no. But i do not have spell check when writing e-mails. I have checked that I have marked for spell check in my e-mail provider. I get the spell check when using Gmail in Firefox and I get spell check when using chkj@broadpark.no in Crome. Is there anybody that can solve this issue for me? Regards Christian

I use a lot of excel files with ETM and when I pull a report, I need it to open with excel in a CSV file. That open no longer appears in the setting list.

When I try to open the report, it just takes me to a folder to download the report and then I have to manually open it with excel.

Can that please be fixed. It was working fine and then I noticed my firefox was updated last night, and this morning I can no longer use it correctly.

I'm guessing this is because of the latest update to Firefox, but every time a download finishes, the pop-up box for the downloads keeps coming up. I guess this is considered intuitive to let you know a download has finished, but I could do without it. I find it a bit distracting and it gets in the way. Is there a specific option that can disable it in the config?

After the last update, every time i download something the download display pops open and shows all of my downloads. This used to only happen when i actually clicked on it, not every time i downloaded something. It's annoying to have to either close it after every download or have it take up a good part of the screen. how do i stop this from happening?

To clarify, the download library window doesn't open, just that menu that drops down when you click the download button.

I have selected the following settings to no avail:

"Choose how Firefox handles the files you download form the web or the applications you use while browsing:" I have set every file type to "always ask", yet when I click on a .kmz, it always prompts me to save it when I want to open it with Google Earth instead. I also tried the setting to default to opening with Google Earth, yet it still prompted me to save the file. I have rebooted to try to make this setting kick in and still no luck. Perhaps this is because the option on the Firefox list is .kml, not .kmz? How do I get it to give me a choice or default to opening with Google Earth?

I cannot connect to walmart.com using Firefox anymore. I used to be able to. I can connect to walmart.com using different browser. I tried deleting all cache and cookies but that did not help. When I use Firefox to connect to walmart.com it flashes the walmart page and then goes blank. Message at the screen bottom says, "waiting for csc.walmart.com..."

Recently I found that I can no longer view attachment in Yahoo mail without downloading them. Previously I was given an option to view or download. I suspect this is an update issue. Is there a way to correct this to the previous options?

My computer froze opening an pdf file. I had to reboot. When I did I lost my compressed zip folder ? it is not in my content type under applications. How do I add it back ? Help ?
