My virus program is sedning me this message.

firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an unmatching security certificate to email.squarespace.info. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since the used certificate was issued for a different web address than the targeted one.

How do I stop firefox from contunally reaching out to this web site.

I been having problem with sites not populating the saved credentials from Password manager.

I tried uninstalling / reinstalling after refresh failed to improve and now i have the same problem and need help.

for any website playing a video, if i skip ahead or go back, the audio breaks. Its not a smooth transition like chrome. It is like it suddenly cuts off the audio and then begins at the skipped ahead point.

My FireFox was updated to version 153 and all of my bookmarks are gone. I tried to restore them in Manage Bookmarks. But when i click on 'Import and Backup', then 'Restore', then click on 'choose file' nothing happens. I navigated to the directory "bookmarkbackups" and I can see several backups, one dated 08/06/2026. But how do I get Manage Bookmarks to see that file?

I tried to bookmark a current tab and it does not show up under Bookmarks. why can't I set a new bookmark? Are these issues related?

I'm on Windows 10.

For the Troubleshooting data, I manually open about:support and clicked on 'Copy text to Clipboard'. Then pasted that into the box below.

Please create a new version of the browser app that supports the ability to use FileSystemAPI on directories, this is essential for working with a BeatBuddy project and SD cards that are saved on my computer using the online editor.

The complete page I'm looking at, blurs when my desk top page changes. When I mouse over the page the blur clears up just under my mouse. Now you might want to focus on desktop but changing taps also cause a blur. When I say blur i am talking the hole page. I'm using Arial and have ran clear text on both monitors it all so seem worst when I used the new side tab load. Never had an issue on older fox loads. Submitting from my laptop not from affected computer.

I am trying to turn off stories that show up on Firefox Home Page. I do not like them, it clutters the homepage. But every time I turn the option off in settings, it automatically reverts back on and the stories do not disappear. This is an update that I am not a fan of as a user.

I'm trying to log in on a new machine, but when Firefox sends the 2FA confirmation code, it never arrives. I whitelisted accounts@firefox.com, but that makes no difference. Is there a way to turn off 2FA? Is there another solution?

I have encountered a problem recently with on particular forum site.

When I attempt to login I receive an error after pressing the submit button. 

The form displays this error "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again."

I have been using the site regulary for several years and have never had this problem

The following is what I am using:

    Firefox ver 153.0.1 64 bit
    Windows 10 and/or Windows 10 (yes this is happening on all 3 of my PCs)

The forum site is using phpBB Forum Software. I do not know the version. As stated above they have been using this software for several years.

In trouble shooting this issue I have discovered that if I do the following in the specified order I can login and create and respond to posts and Private Messages. But as soon as I log out I receive the invalid form message until I do the following steps again.

            1) Clear all cookies, temporary cache, site settings, browsing and download history, site settings
               and saved form info.
            2) Shutdown Firefox 
            3) Navigate to my profile with Windows Explorer 
            4) Delete the file cookies.sqlite

I must do this each and every time I access the site.

I am at a loss as to what to do about this. Does Firefox have any error logs or console logs? If so how can I enable them to see if I can get a better idea of what is happening?

I have toolbar bookmarks on PC with windows 11, firefox 155.0 (64-bit). and I have android phone, Samsung S26 Ultra with firefox, logged in with the same user. However, on mobile I could see a synced bookmarks which are removed long back from the desktop. I have tried to clear cache and data and re-login on mobile device firefox, still it shows the old bookmarks which were existing few weeks back. please advise

My Firefox browser shows the built-in icon (x VPN) in the upper right of the screen. If I click on the icon it starts the process that results in successfully logging into my mozilla account and the screen prints out the following: Next: Turn on VPN

One more step to boost your browser’s privacy. Go to the open panel and turn it on.

But the screen shows no open panel! If I click on the (x VPN) again, the process starts over.

I have checked Settings > Privacy & Security and made sure that the entry "Allow Firefox to improve features, performance, and stability between updates" is checked. I have made sure that browser.ipProtection.enabled is set to true; browser.ipProtection.everOpenedPanel is set to false; and I see no entry for browser.ipProtection.openedPanelWithLocation.

I have signed out completely from the Mozilla account, restarted the browser, and logged back in to restart the process using (x VPN) but it still doesn't work.
