Firefox browser does not respond and does not work well and is always out of work I think the latest update has a problem because it caused it to stop working for the first time, and I deleted and re-downloaded it

I just noticed that Windows Firefox version 113 changes how this userchrome border is rendered.

On my accidental airgapped machine running 112 the border is properly rendered as 1px. But on all my machines running 113 it's being rendered as 0.566667 which is rounded down to 0. I also noticed that my separators between the tabs seem to be thinner.

Before I try to counter it by setting my css to use 2px which is interpreted as 1.7 and rounded down to 1, can you please tell me WHAT is going on? Thanks.

P.S. My userchrome.css include much more than this, hence why it looks strange on a default profile, but the effects are still visible.

I am having problems with my Google Gmail. It won't load properly in Firefox (I have no problem in other browsers) and now I can't access YouTube. I'm having to delete my history continually and restart the Firefox. What's going on? I do have the current version of Firefox installed.

every time I try to enter www.ctreelocals.com it asks me to save the file tOXJbH5_ instead of bringing up the website. If I type www.ctreelocals.com in Edge on the same laptop, it brings up the correct website

I am trying to understand if there is a way to customize the tab rearranging behaviour.

In particular, the thing I find very unpractical is that, after a tab is closed, the others do rearrange, but after the mouse goes out of the tab bar. This is particularly annoying when I have to close multiple tabs, since thanks to this behaviour, the tabs which I close after the first one are always the unintended ones.

The solution would be to let the tab rearrangement happen instantly after the closure of the tab. In my opinion even without animations, I do not really care about that.

If you have any suggestions let me know.

would like to ask if you can add the ability to change an empty firefox page, e.g. give the ability to add a view or other graphics, such an option to customize the google chrome page has it.

Good thing firefox never adopted Manifestv3 for me it's the death of chromium and google chrome and edge. Firefox has the potential for a big comeback, don't screw it up

When I try to print one of the pages on our website, it takes a while for the preview to appear, and then it indicates that it is going to print 12,169 pages (see attachment... upper right corner). When I use Edge or Chrome, it indicates 3 pages. Why is this happening? I just started about a week or so ago. The page is: https://www.lathene.com/monthlyspecials.aspx

This is the only page on our website that this happens. We have had this same site for several years and this is the first time something like this has happened. I spoke with the hosting company and they indicated it was an issue with Firefox, since it is working properly in Edge and Chrome.

When I click on 'gmail' it opens in a tech support email search history instead of inbox. I have gone to settings and tried to do something but I don't understand the options.

Firefox automatically updated and now tabs sync, which I absolutely hate and want to implode the Earth because this even exists. I go to the options to turn off the stupid pointless sync and oh wait it doesn't turn off. The box is not checked. Tabs still sync and display a worthless icon on my taskbar because apparently Mozilla thinks I'm such an idiot I need AN EXTRA FRICKING ICON to tell me I have open tabs in my browser.

So how do I actually turn this trashbag "feature" off if it's not by deselecting it in the "Sync" panel, since that doesn't work?

The list things that i have already tried

1. Troubleshoot mode
2. Restarted Firefox and computer several times.( didn't fix anything )
3. Turned off hardware acceleration when available

I switched to firebox because of the great customization possibilities, but the scrolling behavior is more important to me.

I tried in every possible way to change the scrolling behavior in the browser using about:config, add-ons and the usual settings. Nothing has led me to such perfect behavior as on Chrome.

Is there a way to make the scrolling behavior exactly similar to Chrome?

Hi, I disabled several options in about:config, and a feature previously disappeared. When I pressed the scroll button in the diamond, it opened a tag and automatically navigated to it. Also, when there was a previously open page, and I open any bookmark (tags), the selected page opens in a new window, I want it. Please help me.

Ever since I reinstalled firefox again, and it updated to 113 version, I can't see videos in full screen. I click on full screen, but there is an edge around the sides and bottom, and i can see the browser background. I don't know what to do. I tried with about:config option but then my taskbar was visible. my browser never had these issues before. Should I just wait for a new update? This happened after i installed it again after uninstalling, because I thought I needed to uninstall US version to get the UK version again.

If you can, I'd be very thankful.

Keeps freezing. Keep getting "not responding" message. Typically I can have several tabs open on two screens but now after using Firefox for a while I start having issues. Really just want my favorite browser back.

it's a few days (less than a week I'd say, maybe slightly more), that I'm getting some weird behaviour from Firefox and youtube: any time starts an ads (or comes back the video), starts a new video, move forward with the arrow key, the audio simply disappears. It doesn't mute, I mean, the mute button is not on and even if I mute/unmute the video remains silent, it just disappears into thin air. In order to get it back, the only way I found is to pause and restart the video. I deleted the cache, tested private mode, troubleshooting mode, even another (completely new) windows user, but the problem remains. The only thing that comes to my mind I have not yet tried is a portable version of firefox, just in case. I tried to replicate the issue in Chrome (to exclude some issue of the computer), but it worked just fine.

The problem started on firefox 112 and it's still present now that was updated to 113.

Funny thing, in the last couple of days, the issue started happening somehow at random and generally a little less frequently.

Any idea?
