I have been trying to sync my phone and laptop. Every time I try it only shows my laptop under "my devices" even though I have logged out and logged back in on my phone through the qr code. I am not sure what to do.

I tried to sync my desktop and mobile today. Nothing loaded to my mobile a fact I am now gratefull for because my desktop did sync with the cloud ERASING an entire year of deleating broken bookmarks. What I want to know is how to deleate the cloud so this never happens again!

I have tried to look for my profile and it isn't there, I can do it through my mobile but when it syncs it doesn't add the Bookmarks I have saved there either to my PC

Up until today, when I opened Firefox browser on my Mac I would already be signed in. Today I’ve had to sign in using Passkey AND password each and every time I open the browser. Also, all my saved passwords have disappeared from the Mac OS browser. They seem to be intact on my iPhone app, but even after a couple of “Sync”s, I still have neither passwords nor autofill working on my Mac. Is there a temporary glitch in the system today, or are there steps I need to fix this? Thanks

Please help, it looks like my passwords are not synced anymore on any Mozilla I use. I sue a Mozilla portable at home and a classic desktop on my office. The synchronyzation works for bookmarks, browse history and download history but not a single password is imported on my sessions ! My files are present : see screenshot01 so my passwords are here. Login.json contains data. So what's the problem. The debug mode said that : see screenshot 02 Thanks for the help

Why doesn´t the new checklist widget (that apperas on a new tab) sync between my different computers?? As it is now, it is totaly useless. If i create a checklist on my homecomputer (logged in with my firefox account) it does not show up on my work computer (also logged in with my firefix account). Eveveything else is syncing fine, but not the widgets...

TLDR - I have two profiles set up, but they don't sync across devices.

I have Firefox on my main computer and recently got a second computer. When I downloaded and signed into Firefox on the second computer I created a new profile so I could have different bookmarks, settings, etc. At some point I got signed out of Firefox on the second computer. When I signed back in, it didn't show any profiles - just my usual default settings. On the main computer it still shows two profiles, including the one I set up on the second computer. I have tried signing out and back in on both computers, and manually syncing data. The main computer still shows two profiles, the second computer still shows zero profiles (but has my Firefox settings/bookmarks saved as default).

Unfortunately, not all settings are synchronised when I sync my settings through my connected Firefox/Mozilla account.

For example, the following `about:config` preference is not saved:

`browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.widgets.system.enabled = true`

In addition, several settings from the regular Settings menu are not synchronised either, including:

- Start page settings - The custom ordering of search engines under **Search** - The option to NOT save payment methods & addresses - The option to NOT automatically trust installed certificates - secure DNS over HTTPS (DoH) activated with provider & fallback behaviour set

This is frustrating because I have to go through all the settings again after syncing. In some cases, the behaviour also seems inconsistent—for example, the checkbox for automatically trusting installed certificates does not always retain its selected state (sometimes it is unchecked[desired] and on other occasions it is checked).

Could you please investigate whether these settings are intended to be synchronised and, if so, why they are not being saved?

A reliable sync feature should reproduce the desired configuration consistently, including all stable settings—or, at a minimum, clearly document which settings are excluded from synchronisation.

I have toolbar bookmarks on PC with windows 11, firefox 155.0 (64-bit). and I have android phone, Samsung S26 Ultra with firefox, logged in with the same user. However, on mobile I could see a synced bookmarks which are removed long back from the desktop. I have tried to clear cache and data and re-login on mobile device firefox, still it shows the old bookmarks which were existing few weeks back. please advise

Firefox sync is synchronizing; most notably, my passwords are not available. I am repeatedly asked to sign in; even after successfully signing in, I am immediately prompted again for my password and 2FA. After logging in (even if prompted to do so again) Firefox reports that it is syncing correctly, but password auto-fills are unavailable, and about:logins shows no entries, as is this were a fresh install. On restarting Firefox, I am once again logged out of Sync and need to log in yet again.

This is not affecting my mobile device; only my desktops and laptop.

I first noticed the problem about two days ago. Since then, I have tried the following suggested fixes, to no avail:

• Restarting Firefox
• Restarting my computers
• Restarting in safe mode
• Creating a new profile
• Resetting my password
• Logging out of all devices and logging back in

I would welcome suggestions on how else I might address this. Thanks, Kestrel

I'm the I.T. Director for a school and we use the Securly filtering system. I can't get Firefox sync to work behind this filter. What is the URL that Firefox is trying to connect to for sync so I can add it to the whitelist? Or, IP address. Also, does Sync use my system DNS or does it have some sort of internal DNS that it queries for sync? Because I recently found out the hard way that I have to use the Securly's DNS IP's or nothing works.....

I have been using a new windows 11 laptop, but which hasn't been able to import my favorites/bookmarks as well as password data from my previous (also running firefox) Windows 10 laptop. I performed syncing, but which didn't seem to help.

i have changed windows and i put the same old account on firefox but still not recover my old browser data or passwords , etc i loss everything , please help to recover all my data

Somehow NordVPN caused my Firefox bookmarks on my macbook to be deleted (Nord has caused more problems than I've had in years). Many of the bookmarks are still on FF on my ipad. I've setup sync on both devices (at least I think so), but when I hit the sync button on my mac, the ipad's bookmarks don't appear on my macbook. On my ipad mozilla account 'everything I'm using and signed into' shows the macbook was active 7 minutes ago, and the 'sign out' box is available, so I must be signed in. Firefox on my iphone is the same. Any suggestions. It's getting to the point where it would be easier to setup new bookmarks.

For years using firefox, I have had all of the bookmarks and login information retained by Firefox on my old HP laptop, but after buying a new Windows 11 Laptop and performing the Firefox syncing, none of the bookmarks/favorites and none of the password (and other items that used to self-populate) are there on my now machine. This has caused an emergency situation since my old laptop is now fatally broken. I'm wondering how to start diagnosing what the problem is, whether the "syncing" actually occurred within my account, while the syncing process indicated no problem. The new machine has it's own Bookmarks toolbar showing, but only contains a few new bookmarks that I have manually added.
