out of nowhere my firefox bookmarks no longer appear. I am getting the following msg

The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem.

In an attempt to fix this problem, I have done the following:

• closed the browser and re-opened it
• rebooted my computer
• reinstalled my security software
• uninstalled firefox
• Reinstalled firefox

None of these steps have fixed the problem??????

Any ideas would be appreciated!

bold text I have been given a new firefox and this is so far out of what i need that i am about ready to call it quits -- where is my toolbar? All i have is some bookmark nonsense that has nothing to do with me or what i search for --

How do I confirm that the AI that was recently put into the browser is not working? I want nothing to do with this technology, if it is not able to be disabled then I will switch browsers.

I have Windows 11 and just installed the latest Firefox update (145). But every time I try to open a site, the page crashes. I seem to be able to work in troubleshooting mode, but otherwise I'm dead in the water.

Is there any way to roll back to version 144?

Firefox 145.0, (64 bit), ASUS laptop, Windows 11, <object>PDF. Embedded PDFs do not display in-page. Issue seems to only exist on this particular device. On same ISP pages display properly on other (HP) laptop and Tablet. I've disabled a few extensions and it displays properly.

My question: Which extension(s) will cause the issue?

Recently when i try to sign into my outlook accounts using the option password, says "you've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect password?" i have to ask to send a link to another email address to sign in. I have no problem signing in on other platforms, just Firefox. I have tried safe mode clear cache and still it doesn't let me sign in using my password? Assistance to resolve this would be appreciated. Thank you
