Hi, I've been trying to access academic articles through my university library online database. My browser often directs the shibboleth authentication to the sign-in page of my previous university, not to my current ones. An example is provided below: the first link gets automatically changed to the send one. How can I stop the browser from doing this, so that I can log in through my current university account? I am using Firefox on my MacOS Tahoe. There is a persistent annoying issue where whenever I close (physically fold) my laptop screen and reopen it, Firefox will be frozen. It will be frozen in the sense that I am unable to interact with any tabs or anything until I manually quit Firefox and reopen it (which automatically reopens all my tabs), making it usable again. This doesn't happen every time I close and reopen my Mac, but it definitely happens the majority of the time and makes the browser hard to use.

I've attached a screenshot of what a new window looks like when Firefox is frozen. It looks just like a Firefox window when unfocused.

Notes:

• It doesn't entirely freeze Firefox. In fact, I can "switch" to a different tab by clicking on the tab and then shutting and reopening my laptop again. The new tab will show on reopening but Firefox will still be frozen. This process can be repeated.
• I can pretty consistently replicate the bug by shutting my laptop, waiting 10 seconds, and reopening it. This will almost always result in the freeze.
• The bug still happens if I'm not focused on the Firefox window but on a different app.
• The bug doesn't seem to happen if I just lock my screen but don't shut it closed.

Things I've tried that haven't fixed it:

• Updating my OS.
• Restarting my laptop.
• Disabling hardware acceleration.
• Disabling themes and extensions.
• Deleting and reinstalling Firefox, including deleting the user data in the "Library/Application Support" folder.

When I play a downloaded video that is in English, my downloaded file plays back in a foreign language, not English. What am I doing to cause this and how can I have the English version only in playback everytime? I downloaded firefox desktop for my imac 27" none of the passwords I had on file would work so I changed the password and tried it. It appeared to work but after a while the incorrect password came up again. I continued to try using the code you sent via email several times and even though it appeared to. accept the password it still rejects your code. I have tried both caps and lower case characters but it still rejects the login

latest version of firefox sometimes will not ask to save passwords or remember them. seems if i try to set up a new password it doesn't want to save it, but set up pass key instead. thanks

FF 142.0.1. We have used FF fir many, many years, and NEVER, that is NEVER, been able to ad an extension to our toolbar. Yes, we have read myriad posts and sundry blogs where most of the advice we see is totally useless because the things we are supposed to do not exist in our FF. We can’t add in the customise palette, the extension manger Pin to Toolba, settings, et ceteras. So, how do we add an FF extension to the toolbar in FF 142.0.1? Thank you

I have a new computer and I want to sync my Firefox account but the Sign In button next to Sync and save data options are missing from the browsers in both devices.

Problem: in meiner Excel Tabelle werden ständig Hyperlinks aktiviert. - obwoh das Seitens Excel dekaktiviert wurde.

Die Fehlermeldung lautet: dass der verwendete Brower externe Quellen zuläßt. Wenn es nicht möglich ist, dieses zu ändern, muß ich einen anderen Browser verwenden.

We have two computers in our house -- one connection. From my computer I sent something to my daughter, the second computer in our house. For some reason, my whole Facebook account transferred to her computer ad she is unable to use her own Facebook account. We have no idea how this happened. Can anyone help? Thank you . .

Every time I am using Firefox to login to an app that requires a passkey (which is many now), it says I will be asked to provide my passkey and no window pops up.

The browser freezes and I have force quit it.

Judging from other comments and questions, this appears to be a bug. Please fix it as it renders Firefox unusable.

I'm using Firefox for Mac v142.0.1

I am on a MacBook Air using 142.0.1 (aarch64) and some websites like Amazon.com and Google News are displaying a mobile view, even though I am on desktop. A shift reload causes the desktop view to be displayed, but subsequent clicks lead to reverting to the mobile view.

I recently lost all my data on my computer and after logging into my account, I couldn't retrieve my firefox data. I searched everywhere on my browser and couldn't find nothing to fix this.
