Dear Sir/ Madam,

In the last month I was a victim of an a scam which accessed my PC. I had to get help from a IT consultant. Unfortunatly, he omitted to set to re-install bookmarks.

To progress further I need ave my account details which I have forgotten . Can you assist me please.

Hi, I recently reset my Microsoft 11 operating system.The reset said before doing this would I would loose data, but I did anyway, hoping to improve operations. Now years worth of bookmarks are gone. Can I get them back? There is an icon on my desktop, "old firefox data" Thanks for your help

We are a medium-sized company and are looking for a viable solution for sharing bookmarks between devices. Does anyone know what the maximum number of devices whose bookmarks can be synchronized with Fireofx is?

Some say five, but I cannot find an authoritative answer to this. Also, if that is true, is there some kind of bussiness solution for this kind of demand?

Can you recommend some kind of extension thet will only check current icons for the bookmarks? Just that. I don't need duplicate bookmarks checker, inactice checker and God knows what else checker. Just icons, that's good enough for me.

When you added a bookmark to a site in Firefox there used to be an option that when you hovered over the bookmark a dropdown would appear showing recent changes or additions to the site (see attached). It doesn't seem to be there any more - is there any means of restoring it? Thank you.

I get the following message when going online with Firefox: "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." I've followed all the prompts to restart the computer, refresh the computer, delete the favicons.sqlite and places.sqlite and it won't allow me to delete them. This happened yesterday as well. Yesterday I could delete those files and everything was restored. But today I can't get it to work.

I am trying to organize my bookmarks. 1)I press the delete button, the page comes back next time I open the computer 2)I create a file folder. In previous versions of Firefox ,there was no separator between bookmarks (button>> I assume) and <other bookmarks>, and one could transfer a file into a folder using control and the arrow. Before I tried to organize the bookmarks, <other bookmarks>for some reason contained nearly all my files, the button >> only a few chosen at hazard. Having created file folders, <other bookmarks> contains the folders, button >> all the files. It is impossible to transfer from button>> into the folders in <other bookmarks>.

How safe are bookmarks in general within my account?

If a file path is bookmarked does this provide file mgmt and hierarchy exposure to internet/ai hacking or use? - If feasible, would that mean every folder and file within the directory path is compromised? - Does this change if hyperlinks? Easier / harder?

When I click on a bookmark instead of bring up the website I wanted , it brings up a completely different site. Then my TotalAV pops up saying it stopped a malware called here.selectofmychoices.com, it does this with every one. it only does this with firefox.

I have my book marks in a side menu. Recently that side menu disappeared and when I click on the menu to install it again my bookmarks are not there and have been replaced with a bunch of stuff I don't use. I have tried all of the suggestions and cannot find any backup files other then current dates. Now I am without my bookmarks clear back to 5/7/2022???? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

So why can't Firefox make their bookmark system more simple? I can spend 10 minutes looking for a bookmark that I KNOW I have & end up just googling for the site.

I want to drag a URL to a specific Bookmarks Folder I have (located in the extended bookmarks list (accessed by the double arrow at the far right) but every time I try, the extended list disappears when I try to carry the dragged URL onto it. I can't even select a bookmark in tehe extended list and drag it into a folder from there like I used to be able to do. Please help.

Suddenly my Bookmarks Toolbar vanished from my browser screen. If I click on the Bookmarks Tab I can get the list of the Toolbar as a side bar, but I prefer it to be a horizontal bar always visible. Please tell me how to restore it to its previous state. Thanks!
