Against my better judgement I download the latest update for Firefox, now my computer is a mess. Things like the row of saved sites between the search line and the space where web address shows is gone. I can find the web sites , but I want the line back. I don't understand ANY of your directions or support pages. I am old and can't keep up with technology any more - I'm about five years behind.
If I just uninstall the latest version of firefox will that fix it? Or will it uninstall ALL of firefox. And please don't give me long involved directions or I will just give up because I don't understand.

It seems that I have more then one profile and when I go to picking one for my default, it works. Not sure why this keeps happening. I only want one profile and for it to have all of my bookmarks. Hi, Recently and despite upating to the latest Firefox Browser, when I try to use BT Email groups it offers it as I type and I select. It then just shows the first character of the group or email surrounded by a red box and a x next to it and doesn't expand into the members of the group. This automatically suplied email recipient address is invalid. I've tried clearing the cache for the webpage to no avail. The problem doesn't occur in the Chrome browser. Kind regards Michael

I look at the RAM being used and it's even over what I have in the computer. I have and always keep Firefox updated to the latest version.

How do I turn this off, as I have never, not once, found this useful. Instead, I've always found it to be more of a nuisance, as Alt + Tab is how to switch between software on Windows 11, and I switch between software often. Please tell me how to turn this feature off.

418 Hello, I like your site (and I donate a little from time to time), but some of Firefox's behavior is becoming annoying: for months now, Le Monde articles have been cut off on the right (not those from Le Figaro), and recently Instagram has been blocking the browser after a few posts. Of course, it might be "their fault," but it's clear that it doesn't happen like that with Chrome. Good luck!
