Hello, I recently signed on to learn Spanish with Duolingo. I've been working on it for 4 days and now when I try to log into Duolingo, I get the error message:

I've tried clearing the cache and it does not help. I can open the site without issues in Google Chrome.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Jeanne

I am finding a web site that I have used for many years is suddenly not working as the login will not work. I have contacted the compmany whose website i use and they have taken me through steps that point to an issue with firefox. (I can get acces to the site with MS Edge). If firefox thinks there si a security issue I cannor find how to make teh site an exception.

I also see that firefox thinks my browser preferences are being managed by my organisation. In fact I am my organisation and dont recall having set up a policy for my company

Can you help pls

Thanks

Recently lost all login/password data in firefox. After browsing the support I discovered that I have a corrupt logins.json file, around 270kb in size, and a logins.json file around 10kb in size.

Renaming the corrupt file to logins.json doesn't seem to recover the passwords/logins (even temporarily). Tried rolling firefox back to an older version and that didn't work either.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix the corrupt file?

Thanks.

Hello,

When I go to use Firefox on my Mac computer I get a message that says Bitdefender will not give me permission to download files and Firefox blocks them. Bitdefender is the virus detector that I use and it has worked so far but this is the only trouble I seem to have with it.

I would appreciate your help.

Thank You

When I logon to my ANZ account - I get a msge " Access denied. Error 15. This request was blocked by the security rules." I can still logon through my iphone app, and also through my other laptop (Macbook), and I tried successfully using another browser (Microsoft Edge), so it must be the settings or a security block on my Dell laptop & Firefox browser? How can I check the settings in Firefox? Thanks Graeme

I use Firefox (94.0.2) on a Macbook Pro (using MacOS 11.6.1) and went to log in to Twitter this evening and had a strange result. I only occasionally view Twitter using my laptop and I use my email address and a password to log in. When I clicked in the field that reads "Phone, user name or email" I expected to see the Firefox autofill to show my email address, but instead it shows the name "Farha Hussain" (see screenshot image).

I checked my Firefox preferences for Saved Logins and I have my email address and password for Twitter saved there, but no mention of Farha Hussain (my name is Keith). I tried other websites to see if I could recreate the issue and couldn't. I visited the Twitter login form using Chrome and Safari and neither suggested Farha Hussain as a user name, so I think that this is something specific to Firefox on the Twitter website.

To make this an even more unusual situation, the only "Farha Hussain" that I know is a doctor in my city who I have been meaning to contact to see if she is accepting patients, but haven't yet done so. Her name is in my Mac Calendar and that's the only place I can think of on my computer (not in contacts or anywhere else). How this would be connected to a Twitter login is beyond my understanding.

Let me know if you would like additional information or screenshots.

Hello! A site kept popping up a confirmation window for an action I was trying to take, and in the confirmation window, there was a checkbox for something like "don't allow [this website] to prompt me again" (that's as best I can remember). I checked the box thinking it would just allow the action to happen without the confirmation window, but instead, the site just won't take that action anymore. How can I undo this setting? Thank you!

I noticed that logins and passwords disappeared after the computer turned off unexpectedly due to low battery and unstable power connection couple times in a few minute interval.
