Every 5-10minints I get white screen for 2 to 30sec when I use the firefox browser. When there are many tabs open, the displayed tab line re-centers automatically obscuring the open tab. Is there a way to disable this mechanism, or to insist that the open tab is kept visible? The current mechanism that obscures the open tab is user unfriendly.

I was doing puzzles on my sons account because i cancelled my previous account but decided to reactivate Facebook on Fire fox. My sons account was on Edge but I put my new account on Fire Fox. I reactivated my new account on 6/29/24 got a new computer with Windows 11 and when I try to access it, it tells me to download it. What I need is to be able to activate it on my Windows 11 in order to use it. If you need any more information I will be glad to give it to you. It was downloaded from my old Windows 10 on to my Windows 11. Hope this make sense to you.

When I select a text and right-click, the option to translate by Firefox's native translation feature appears. The default target language for this seems to be the defined by locale; for my case, it's always Turkish. How do I choose a different target language to appear in the context menu? I cannot see an option for default target language in settings.

Mein Thema betrifft die Änderung der Lesezeichen Verwaltung. Die Lesezeichen bleiben nicht mehr sichtbar sobald man auf eine andere Stelle mit dem Mauszeiger klickt z. B. um einen Tab durch das ziehen mit der Maus in die Lesezeichen ein zu sortieren. Dann funktioniert das scrollen mit der Maus nicht mehr, man muss zwangsweise mit dem Mauszeiger auf einen der Pfeile gehen um das scrollen zu ermöglichen. Wenn man neue Lesezeichen hinzufügen will, oder Lesezeichen in Unterordner öffnen möchte, dann muss mann sämtliche Unterordner umständlich mit dem Mauszeiger aufklappen, wenn man nicht richtig trifft fängt man wieder von vorne an. Wie bekomme ich die vorige Einstellung, und meines erachtens bessere Lesezeichenverwaltung, wieder hin?

I'm stuck in an endless loop in Firefox for Linux (MX Linux) whenever Cloudflare is used as security.

I click "verify you are human" and it just loops back to the very same challenge. It isn't broken in other web browsers like Vivaldi for Linux. Or Firefox in Windows 11. Just Firefox for Linux.

It has been this way for months.

My local newspaper has gone only digital, which I actually like. But, there is an option on the bottom of the reader that is available when using Edge and is not available when I use Firefox. A mouseOver on Edge displays "Print or clip". Yes, it's a snipping tool and/or print option. But it really right-sizes the snipped area perfectly for printing crossword puzzles. The Windows snipping tool (Windows 11) makes it too small so I need to go to Edge for only this one task. My first preference would be to get the function on the Firefox screen, and my second choice would be to figure out how to use the Windows snipping tool to print without leaving Firefox. Android: Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (SM-X200), Firefox 147.0.2 (~1500 bookmarks) - Old account deleted, cache cleared, restart. New account + Sync enabled.

Windows 11: Huawei MateBook D15, Firefox 147.0.2 - Old profile/account removed. Same new account + Sync enabled. - 30+ min wait: NO SYNC. Logs clean, Places DB verified OK.

Suspected: Android bookmarks not uploading to Sync servers. Questions: - How to verify/force upload from Android to Mozilla servers? - Tools to export/backup Android Firefox bookmarks (no HTML export)?

When Firefox opens its first tab, when I enter a site a new (second) tab is opened. From that second tab, sites open in a new tab, or the same tab. But the very first tab remains empty and just takes up space.

What I'd like to see is the first site open in the first tab and then subsequent tabs open in new tabs. I don't have a home page set and don't need it. Is there someplace in settings that can I change this behavior?

I am experiencing a critical Firefox Sync issue and would like to request your assistance.

I recently installed Firefox on a new Windows system and signed in using the same Firefox Account that I have used for a long time. Although my account shows recent activity (last connection around mid-February), none of my synced data has been restored on the new installation.

The missing data includes:

Saved passwords (logins)

Bookmarks

Firefox preferences/settings

I have carefully checked the Sync logs (about), and they indicate that collections for passwords, bookmarks, history, and preferences do exist on the Sync server. However, the new profile does not download or apply these records, and Sync appears to treat the new local profile as authoritative.

I suspect that repeated sign-ins and sync attempts from a fresh profile may have caused my previous data to be overwritten or made inaccessible, even though the server still reports existing collections.

Given the importance of this data, I would like to ask:

Is it possible to restore my Firefox Sync data (passwords, bookmarks, and preferences) from a snapshot or server-side state from approximately 20 days ago?

Is there any way to force a full restore from the server instead of uploading the empty local profile?

Are server-side backups or recovery options available in cases like this?

I fully understand that Firefox Sync uses end-to-end encryption, but since the data was previously accessible under the same account, I am hoping there may still be a recovery option.

Please let me know if you need any additional information, logs, or identifiers from my account or device to investigate further.
