Hi there.

This is my first post so bare with me.  :-)

We are deploying the 32-bit version of the Firefox Browser to 4 700 clients and the 64-bit version to only 8 clients; all clients on a 64-bit Windows 10 environment. We will migrate to Windows 11 22H2 this year. The manager for the 8 clients says he wants the 64-bits version just because it's...64-bits. No other reason.

I've read that the 64-bit version can not handle Java, Media Players like VLC and mayby some other plugins. Is that still so?

What is the main reason TODAY for using 64-bit Firefox Browser instead of 32-bit, except for the use of 4 GB+ RAM?

Hi, I‘m not sure if I selected the right topic for my question but I can‘t find an answer to my query anywhere, so here goes:

When I opened Firefox on my Mac today (all up-to-date), a pop-up request by Firefox (cf. attached picture) showed up: "Firefox needs to download the font "Weibei SC". "Weibei SC" is 17,4 MB." with the options "Skip" and "Download".

Puzzled by this odd request, I wanted to skip it, but anytime I clicked skip the window would pop up again. I never clicked on download and I actually closed and reopened the browser, without having it show up again. I even restarted my device and reopened Firefox but it didn‘t show up again.

Now, I want ro believe that there is nothing to worry about, that it was a software blunder of some sort and that maybe normally it just installs fonts in the background without me knowing. But for the sake of my own peace of mind, I‘d feel more comfortable if someone who knows the software better than I do, explain to me what this was or might have been, and hopefully that it was nothing harmful.

I use Using Video Download Ultimate add on in Firefox. It works great on most websites, but it will not connect and download from "https://yeahmovies.to/home" or "https://ww5.cmovies.co/movies/". Will you rectify this, or teach a work around to me?

Since the latest update Firefox doesn't show up in the browser list. I don't want to uninstall to reinstall because I have too many settings in my browser that I don't wish to reset. Please solve the problem.

I tried installing firefox but microsoft won't let me. an article said to install from firefox website so I tried. How do I install direct from firefox website because still goes to microsoft and won't install. I want firefox browser and microsoft so I can do email and internet at same time. besides all microsoft does when searching internet is stick me with bing. I don't like bing. firefox does better more concrete searching not all over the place. How can I install from firefox website and it does not go to microsoft.

many pages or websites dosent open because www.thanx.com access those,and prevent to open it ,how can i to remove thanx.com

i have been using Tor.browser as my default web browser on Macbook for months. Firefox is my 2nd, but two days ago, i was kicked out of Tor, cannot download/use it anymore and the reasons given are as follows:

"Tor.browser quit unexpectedly. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information." Ignore Report Reopen (options)

when i have deleted and tried to re-install tor browser, I get the notification that

"Tor Browser quit unexpectedly". No matter what I do

 (I have since done both, obviously & have tried many other things, including trying to Time Travel, which I am not 100% sure how to yet).  the Report states Firefox is responsible for blocking Tor.  how did this happen and suggestions on how to fix.  I have to access Tor to find some pertinent files etc. I have stored there.  thanks

Automatic update on my Windows 10 desktop of the the new update 127.0.1 resulted in a version of Firefox that worked more or less for some web sites but was unable to reach others.'

I installed a dev version of Firefox to test a plugin.

Then I uninstalled the dev version, but now none of my profiles on the regular version work...

Please help me, I really need my old browser history and cookies.

When I try to use one of my old profiles, I get "You've launched an older version of Firefox" and it tells me to either Create New Profile or Exit.

I read online that people add "-allow-downgrade" to the Windows shortcut, but this does nothing for me.

For a long time I've used Firefox on Linux with multiple instances each with their own profile folder. Today when I try to run these instances with separate profile folders I get the following error:

> Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To use Firefox, you must first close the existing Firefox process, restart your device, or use a different profile.

Profiles are created like this:

firefox --new-instance --createprofile "PROFILENAME ~/.firefox-PROFILENAME"

They are run like this:

firefox --new-instance --profile "~/.firefox-PROFILENAME"

It seems something has broken with the instance isolation as this is now throwing an error. Additionally I run "createprofile" it doesn't seem to actually create the folder.
