This morning, upon opening Firefox, I noticed that I could not scroll through any pages or windows. I turned off scroll lock (or so I thought), and it began scrolling. But then, in all of my other windows, scroll lock was activated. So, I hit my scroll lock button again, and now all other windows will scroll except for Firefox. Is there a setting I need to change?

It appears as if scroll lock is reversed on Firefox vs. all other apps on my computer.

I had an account under an existing email. When I signed up for VPN, I created an account under a second email, not realizing the original account was under a different email. I cancelled the second account, added the second email as a secondary email to the original account, and then made the second email the primary email for my original account. Since then, I am seeing very strange behavior with my password. At first neither password from the new or old account would work (not that the password from the cancelled account should work). Both attempts said that it was an incorrect password. I performed a password reset to create a new password. Shortly afterward, I tried to login through the VPN tool and the sign-in failed with the message "You've made too many attempts to sign-in". At the same time, I opened a new tab to the Accounts page and it showed no one as logged in, despite the Firefox browser showing that I was logged in. I used the new password to login on that tab and it did go to the accounts page at the time. I can't see a real pattern the behavior, but it seems to have started when I changed the primary email address. I still have not been able to login to the VPN tool. I'm not sure that I have waited 15 minutes yet, but it doesn't seem like that should matter if I am giving it the correct password, which I 100% know that I am since I can log in to the account page with that password.

So I accidentally imported data from Chrome, which I had forgotten was signed in on my girlfriend's account. It has imported all of her histories, saved passwords and logins (hundreds) and bookmarks.

I did not previously have firefox sync, or any form of back up (lesson learnt) of my own saved data on the browser.

Is there any way of undoing the import without having to go through and manually delete everything?

After the latest update, scrolling using the mouse's wheel no longer works on firefox (Version 110.0).

If I turn on 'Scroll Lock' then the scroll wheel works as usual. Turn off 'Scroll Lock' and firefox is unresponsive to the wheel. This only happens on firefox, with the scroll wheel working fine on other applications and other browsers.

I also use a plugin to route certain mouse buttons (and have for years without any issue), which is not usable when scroll lock is enabled. This is causing quite the headache.

Any help is appreciated.

Somewhat recently I have been unable to use my scroll wheel to scroll pages up and down.

I can scroll up and down in every application on my computer except Firefox.

Things I've already tried: I've tried turning hardware accel. on and off I've tried turning off auto scroll and scroll lock. I've tried using other mice. I've tried using a different Firefox profile. I've tried restarting my computer.

I have been AVOIDING doing any changes that erase my cache or restart Firefox in anyway since I REALLY don't want to lose any of my password and history data. If it's the only way, then I'll deal with it when I deal with it.

What makes this problem weirder is that I can middle-mouse click and scroll the page up and down with that, but I cannot scroll the page manually with the wheel at all.

What could possibly be the issue? Someone please help! It's not like it's making me terribly angry, but it's very, very inconvenient and no normal fixes seem to be fixing this super simple issue.

WIN10 Pro; FF 110.0 (64-bit)

After upgrading to the above version and restarting the computer, I find that scrolling within a webpage no longer works using the mouse wheel. Scrolling can still be done using the vertical scroll on the right.

I've closed the browser and tried again, but the bug remains.

I've verified that mouse wheel scrolling still works by testing on other websites and on documents.

Hi!

I can't scroll with the mouse wheel in Firefox. It works fine in other browsers and programs.

If I switch to Safe Mode, the scrolling wheel works. But if I switch back to normal mode, the wheel does not work again.

I tried to switch off and switch on "Use autoscrolling" and "Use smooth scrolling" settings, but it didn't help.

Unfortunately, "Refresh Firefox…" and reinstalling browser completely did not help.

I am at a loss, please help.

This issue only appeared since I switched from Chrome to Firefox.

Any ideas why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Thank You,
