Hello,

I'm using Containers and am able to log into different gmail accounts simultaneously.

However, I'm curious as to whether or not it would be possible to link a specific account to a specific container? (e.g., my work email automatically logs into the work container, same for personal email).

I use LastPass, but would Firefox passwords work to make this process more automatic? I set "Gmail" to automatically open in my "work" container, but it takes me to the landing page and requires me to sign-in every time.

Perhaps, I should just stop clearing my history/cookies and just hide the containers instead so the data is saved and I remain logged in. I am curious if there is another solution that I'm overlooking. (I would be down to help build one, too!)

Hi Folks, I recently had to change my slow POTS broadband to LTE broadband as its quicker, however the LTE connection is quite weak (rural UK), so i get a much faster speed for streaming at night, but sometimes establishing a session or initial connection can be a little troublesome.

Im studying from home all day, every day at present. I get perhaps 40% of my new tabs / web searches sending me a "The connection has timed out" error, which i have to refresh the page to try again. Usually i can live with this, as im used to poor broadband generally.

Problem - i have a timed aptitude test tomorrow. I cant use any other network connection as im not supposed to go anywhere with coronavirus.

Can anyone help me resolve the network timeout problem? Im doing practice tests and im now getting timeouts for the server to have received my answers! I dont want to fail the test because of network timeouts.

MacOS 10.15.4 - firefox browser 76.0.1

Any help would be MASSIVELY appreciated.

Hello,

my Firefox doesn't react on entries in the URL bar and also not on the menu items in the sandwich menu. I have already reinstalled it + deleted folder + deleted profile. But even after reinstalling it I have the same problem. Are there registry entries that could cause this?

Hi. I am using Firefox for years, mainly due to it's increased security and privacy settings it provides. As you can see in the attached screenshots, I have set Firefox in Privacy & Security tab to Strict Tracking Protection and to Never remember history. The problem is that, when I close and reopen Firefox, NOT all cached content gets deleted automatically!

Please see my screenshot of Cookies and Site Data section. You will see that there is 1.1MB of Cached Web Content which is not deleted. If I don't manually delete this content (e.g. every week), the size of it gets grow to a very big number of MB (400-500MB).

Why Firefox is not deleting the Cached Web Content automatically since I told it explicitly to do it by choosing Never remember history?

I am using Mozilla Firefox 76.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows. This happens in all of my PCs..

Is this a Bug?

Hi Everyone,

Trying my luck here as a last resort. I cannot read videos on FF (I end up with the following message "This video file cannot be played.(Error Code: 102630)") except Youtube ones.

I read few articles and already tried the following: make sure I have the latest version of FF, uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available", install FFMPEG, install K-Lite (and restart FF each time).

Nothing worked so far so any other tips from the community would be great.

I'm using Windows 10 and have a couple of add-ons only (LastPass and uBlock origin).

Thanks a lot in advance,

Max

When downloading pdf, html and other files I recently started getting an "Executable files may contain viruses or other malicious code" warning. This is annoying and definitely nothing I didn't know. Besides, many of these files were written by me, so this simply represents an additional annoyance in my workflow. How do I permanently disable this behavior?
