need to replace bookmarks on server not merge them, w/bookmarks on locale device

currently when i log in it merges what is on server w/ what i just reworked and getting rid of multiples ... will have to do this again as i clean even more so need ot know how to accomplish exchange not merger

Desktop Firefox 142.0.1 (aarch64) iPhone 11, iOS 18.5, Firefox 144.1 (62735)

I just reinstalled the desktop which needs the mobile phone's bookmarks. If I wipe the phone bookmarks, I lose everything. Backup, how on the phone? Sync, how? The Firefox Bookmarks Sync isn't an exact science and a misstep could be catastrophic!

Here's what I'm looking at on the desktop and the phone, attached. 1. Desktop Firefox Bookmarks Sync window show a 3 horizontal lines (hamburger icon) for iOS Firefox settings. 2. Phone Firefox has 3 horizontal dots (meatballs icon) for iOS Firefox 3. Phone Firefox has my Firefox account logged in and a Settings option, but which one (I choose Settings 4. Phone Firefox Settings shows my ACCOUNT and a Sync Now option, but which one (I don't want the phone to Sync and pull no data from the desktop and wipe the phone Bookmarks (no backups)).

Where tf is the sync and save data button on Firefox Android v 142.0

I am trying to sync with my desktop and there's no option under the menu for sync. The instruction given when I try to sync is to click the menu, go to "sync and save data" and scan a qr code. Of course the code doesn't work from my camera like every other qr code in the universe. It has to be scanned in the Firefox app but there's nowhere in the app to do this.

It's not in settings. It's nowhere.

Where is it, I REALLY REALLY NEED TO SYNC so that I have access to my bookmarks on my phone.

This shouldn't be complicated or difficult where is it???????? :( This is ridiculous.

If I have edited the passwords file and bookmarks file and saved them to a folder via export feature. When I import the edited file into firefox how can I make that the master file and not have the other instances of firefox sync all the old data back to the master one I edited? For instance I have FF on android, linux and windows, if I import the edited file to the windows instance what is to stop the linux from syncing back to the windows machine? I have had this happen previously where a newer instance of firefox overwrote the bookmarks and password files. Will I have to delete all bookmarks and passwords and import them from the new edited file on each device?

I want to sync bookmarks between my private and business PCs. I want to transfer bookmarks from my personal PC to my business machine, but I don;t want to transfer any bookmarks from my business PC to my home PC. Can that be done?

Choices? I need to understand the App before committing my internet presence. Options to revert to Firefox/Windows, disable features I choose. Otherwise it just GQQle. Sync is already intruding on my preferences.

Dear support, I have 2 pcs and I need to enter sync password every time I open Firefox - start notebook. It works fine on the second pc and password is remembered. How to solve it? When I an issue where sending a tab from my android phone to a windows desktop opens the tab in a private window. This did not used to happen, and as far as I am aware I did not change any settings for this to happen. How do I stop this from happening?

How do I sign out of FF on my Iphone? When I attempt to log out of either the computer or the phone it stops sync. I want to be able to use firefox on the phone without having the computer on???!!!

Hello everyone! Windows 10, Firefox 146.0.1 (64-bit) I'm trying to synchronize my account, but there is no "Sign in to account" or "synchronization" function in the settings menu on the left. When I log in via the command line using https://accounts.firefox.com/signin, I can log in, but neither the account itself nor the synchronization button appears in the settings. What should I do? I have used Firefox as primary browser on my Mac for many years — never Safari.

Until yesterday, I used Safari as the only browser on my iPhone.

I now see all my Safari bookmarks in the iPhone’s new Firefox browser, but not the important open Safari tabs.

How can I sync my iPhone Safari web page tabs to Firefox on both devices, and sync the Mac’s open Firefox web page tabs to iPhone Firefox?

I reinstalled Firefox on my laptop after it crashed. I also have Firefox on my iPhone. The profile there is up to date. How do I sync that profile to the laptop installation?
