I open Firefox and the search box has defaulted to EBAY. How do I change it to Duck Duck or something else ? There's no down arrow by the seach box to change and no instructions in your help. It's too hard to find the answer. Thanks!

Can you PLEASE return to us the option to delete Google from search engines in your settings ENTIRELY? I can't get rid of the stupid fucking AI search results that are ALWAYS wrong but you won't let me delete it from search engines. If you'll let me get rid of Bing!, you can fucking well let me block Google as well.

In what file does Firefox store information about the icons of added search engines?

(After copying the profile with the search.json.mozlz4 file, search engines added by the user work correctly, but their icons cannot be seen - each search engine is marked with the same icon 'magnifier' - as you can see in the attachment.)

I switched my default search engine from Google to Bing. As you can see in the attached screenshot, it should be searching with Bing. But for some reason the search results are always Google. How do I fix this? I haven't refreshed Firefox yet. I was hoping to avoid that.

Why do searches default my home location to Northern Utah, when I live in Central Utah? How can I get Firefox to use my actual home location as my default location for queries.

I do not want to search from the address bar. The search bar is what I want to go to but invariably goes to the address bar. Is there an about:config setting to change this?

Hello! I saw that the Test day event had started. In Firefox Beta, I entered messaging-system-action.testday in about:config, put it on a string and set the value to testday as it said in the instructions. When I restarted Firefox, the welcome window did not appear and there was also no letter S next to the search as it should be. Please help!

how do you get your search typing on the main firefox address/search bar in the middle of the page, as well as the small google search bar at the top of the page please?

First, please explain the relationship among Firefox, Mozilla and DuckDuckGo. Second, how to make Firefox open when compuetr starts. Third, how to make DDGo the search engine. Finally, how to delete email contacts. I have been doing some, but others show a red triangle and say "cannot delete this". Everytime i highlight a word and right click it to "search google for" it switches to that new tab. This only started happening for the past two weeks. I already changed browser.search.context.loadInBackground to true in the config.

Also noticed this does not happen in private mode, but it does happen in troubleshoot mode.

Is there any way to change that? Thanks
