My PC died and I could not boot from bootable flash drive.

I had been backing up the system with Acronis to a WD Passport.

I purchased a new computer, and when I did a restore, upon starting Firefox, I did not have my old bookmarks, which are many.

Aren't they stored in a backup? If so, how do I get them back. I'm sure that some of the bookmarks came over from Netscape Navigator.

I lost all my personal data on Firefox as soon as I changed the password and I did not know that you can lose everything that I had registered in the download box and the previous archive. Now I am very, very mentally disturbed and I do not feel safe and I am very sad about what happened to me. I am crying now. What should I do? My psyche is really broken due to the lack of information....

I reinstalled Windows 11 Pro and I tried to login to Firefox Sync with a Mozilla account and it did not restore my bookmarks properly . Can You please help me with this ? I do want to access all my information .

Hi, I recently purchased a new laptop and want to bring over the bookmarks I had from my old laptop. I had copied what I thought was the profile from the old one and copied it into the new laptop - but I'm not sure of the next steps :(.

Today I tried to open Firefox, but no matter how I tried it didn't work. I uninstalled Firefox completely from my computer and reinstalled it. However, when I tried to sign in and sync my profile with all my saved passwords and history, it went to a default mode I think, and I can't see any of my saved passwords. Can you help me recover all my passwords please?

My passwords are apparently lost today after updating Firefox.

What went wrong? How could that happen? Why, Why Why?

Anyway to get them back? Are they hidden somewhere?

Anyone else suffering from this update too?

Any help or insights as to why would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. In the process of reinstalling my laptop (W11) I synchronized my Firefox, as I have done some many times before. No, this time, it seems that all my bookmarks and passwords have disappeared from the sync service...

Is there any way to get them back, now that my laptop has been reinstalled, from scratch?

Hello, my wife recently broke her computer, so I bought a new one and gave her my old one. Yesterday she deleted a lot of my bookmarks, which are no longer available on my account. Is there any way to retrieve them?

Aloha — An update to Firefox must have occurred, and I am unable to access my open tabs and bookmarks. I have had a Firefox account for 15 years at least and a lot of information was in my folders and bookmarks. Please let me know how the information can be recovered. I tried to follow several of the instructions provided and was not able to fix the issue. I have a recovery code/Mozilla key, but I am not sure where or how to use it.

I do all my work and personal stuff on Firefox so I need timely assistance to fix the problem.
