i noticed every websites that i visited or some links just suggested are appeared in my firefox homepage i selected only shortcuts in setting which i expect to see only shortcuts that i added manually but its just more shortcuts pop up each time i open the new window on my home page this is really annoying and , its not necessary at all , i dismissed them manually but they just pop up again please can you report this issue to be fixed on next release ?

Watching a CNN video on YouTube Firefox suddenly freezes and does not accept any further actions. Even shutting down it will block the process and I need to use the "Shut down anyway" function. Similarly, Thunderbird will lock up in the middle of writing a response, but here it is just the window and I lose what I typed, but I can go back and push "reply" again and retype the answer. Whether these are down to similar issues I don't know. Obviously, this sounds like a graphics driver, so I made sure all updates are installed and there is no further update available for both, Firefox and Thunderbird as well as the system drivers. The recent update changed how the mute button works in Firefox, before it would replace the icon and would show text and whatnot if it was muted or wanted to autoplay; now it just always shows the mute/unmute button in a tab playing audio. This would normally be fine but it is causing my tabs to constantly be shrinking and expanding whenever the audio changes in a tab, and it's really frustrating me and it feels like an overall far worse user interface design than it was before, even if people were complaining about it. Is there some sort of middle ground where I can set a maximum tab size or something? I know this used to be a feature in about:config but it doesn't exist anymore for some reason. I've also tried using a userChrome CSS code for it that I found online; it got rid of the button but it still made the tab size change and the code I tried using for maximum tab size also didn't affect that. Really starting to frustrate me! Please give me any advice I feel like I've exhausted all my options lol

Hello. I have a question about Firefox. I shut down my PC and turned it on two hours later, but Firefox is still displaying page layouts properly, images on pages aren't displaying, and the screen remains blank even when I load a page from a bookmark. How can I fix this? This is the first time I've seen this happen, whether I've restarted or shut down and restarted.

When I start MF, all tabs I have used before open. Good! But one of these tabs are not in use. That it why I want to close it for ever.

The option to delete it for ever is not available.

Just seemingly out of the blue I started getting Firefox captive portal warnings. Most websites load normally but if it's a new site i.e. one I ahven't visited in a while I get the "you must log into this netrwork before you an access the internet" message. I am and have only and always been on my home wifi with this computer, it's a laptop but has never been out of my house. Forefox seems slow lately and I keep getting this message. Other browsers work fine by the way.

I have three failed downloads that are stuck on the list. Retrying them does nothing, and deleting them does nothing.

Incidentally, the images that those failed downloads link to are online and available.

How do I get rid of them?

Since the 148 update, copying and pasting has been completely broken in google docs, sheets, etc. I get an error every time I try to and am forced to reload the page after which nothing has even been added to the doc. I know I am not the only one with this issue. It happens across different OS'es.
