Switched back to grey top-bar and noticed that when using star to save/edit page/link is grey like rest of the bar, but when saving/editing link with mouse, it's still pastel

Why? I want them both grey.

In the new update, the gradient is mandatory which is okay fine, probably will be themes that revert that, but tabs are floating buttons.

It's not the end of the world, but it's something that is both completely illogical (since they're tabs, they're linked with the window below them — they are TABS, like in a pocket phone book or office file), and visually confusing.

And they're now even more weakly highlighted (there is in fact NO highlighting, only a tiny outline), it's difficult to discern which tab is active. It was already a bit hard on dark themes in recent versions.

I think these are not just knee-jerk reactions, like "make it like it was", although I admit there is a part of it there. But even taking a step back, how does this improve the experience? I can't see which tab is active, the coloring is non-uniform across the wide window so it's even harder, and the tabs do not connect to their window.

Hi, I recently opened my browser and noticed that all the tabs are now rounded instead of rectangular. I'd like to restore them to their original appearance, but I can't find anywhere how to do it.

The settings isn't KISS , Keep It Simple Stupid and the new added in slide bar to the left/right isn't needed it just fills the screen with more unwanted stuff even in full screen view, you can remove all of the icons for the other settings on it, there is on option to remove it from the screen altogether.

Monitoring security cameras the display appears offset not like it use to be also.

At least i have a backup of the past four Fox updates including bookmarks Pw's ect so i can scrap the current one, have also set to prevent auto downloads both while using Fox and in the background, It can ask that is all.

For some reason it got reset and i don't know how that happened, that is how i got stuck with this one.

I have this problem on 2 computers and also on all Mozilla software like Firefox, Thunderbird and also Libre Wolf:

When saving a file and right clicking the file menu window, e.g. for creating a new subfolder, the context menu looks empty, like in the 1st screenshot. It is expected to look like the 2nd screenshot.

Current sidebar default width with open tabs (ie bookmarks etc) is excessive, so I did the normal dragging to narrow it. Problem being that opening new window it goes straight to the default width. Shouldn't it stay at the changed width?

Whatever you all have done to the new version of FF it has 'chunked out the sde of the Bookmarks toolbar and i cant make it smaller just by 'sliding' it...

How do i fix what you all have done?

Hi! Recently firefox got updated with new design and it looks good but the only thing i hate is how rounded it looks like now. I dont really like that my whole browser is just that much round now. Can i get back to cubes with rounded corners somehow?

In version 157, the favorites icon in the address bar and the download progress bar have turned gray instead of the previous blue. Is it possible to revert these elements to blue?

If I grab the vertical bar and drag it to the right, a gap appears between the sidebar and the web page. If I move it to the left, the web page covers the right side of the sidebar. In both cases the width of the sidebar does not change. I am on Windows 10 with Firefox Version 154.0.

I would be grateful for any help on this.

Every few days the sidebar reappears.

I DO NOT WANT to use the AI chatbot.

Having tabs from other devices is all that useful to me. It feels like something that's just there to justify the AI chatbot bar existing.

I can access bookmarks and history from the toolbar. Don't need a new sidebar for that. They don't justify your stupid AI chatbot bar.

I DO NOT WANT TO USE YOUR AI CHATBOT. YOUR SIDEBAR IS LITERRALY NO DIFFERENT FROM A POP UP ADVERT. SO STOP HAVING IT POP UP AGAIN AND AGAIN.

I have dark reader installed, it makes every website dark mode quite efficiently.

However, it cannot make *.mozilla.org dark because those are restricted pages that addons cannot modify.

Even though I have enabled "restricted pages" in dark mode, it does not work.

After a recent updates of Firefox in on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers, the spacing between words "FileEditViewHistoryBookmarksToolsHelp" in the menu bar went away! How can I get back to the previous space between words" "File Edit View History Bookmarks Tools Help" in the menu bar ?
