OLD firefox data is being created automatically if we are deleting its stil get created again in desktop no profile setting found on fixfox browser In sycn option also not account is added.

OS: Windows 11 PRO and Windows 11 Home (both 64-bit) Firefox Version: 135.0

Recently set up a computer to use latest version of Firefox. Thought I could just copy and paste the files in the profile folder to the new computer. Found out that didn't work so deleted all the files in the profile folder on the new computer. Copied to a USB stick the Profiles folder on the old computer (according to instructions here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles). Pasted the folder to the Profiles folder on the new computer.

Attempted to start the Profile Manage without starting Firefox on the new computer in order to create a new profile and point it to the files just copied. This is where the problem occurs!

Regardless of what I type in the "Run" dialog box, Profile Manager will NOT open! After hitting Enter, it opens Firefox! I've tried typing all of the following in the "Run" space:

firefox.exe -P
firefox.exe -p
firefox.exe -ProfileManager

What am I doing wrong? Any help would certainly be appreciated1

windows 10 firefox was attacked by a scammer which declared that any attempt to shut down would cause problems. so i reloaded with some difficulty and subsequently the highlight function is blocking my screen

after downloading latest Firefox, suddenly seeing a looooooooong list of commands which were not there earlier.(see on the right). all these additions are not described in the changes summary! further, the command "Take screenshot" does not work. the earlier extension for screenshots which i had is also not to be seen. so added moravi screenshot but unable to take any screenshot, full or part.

I can't use Firefox at all, because I can't create any profile. I haven't ever installed Firefox in the past on this computer. The error message is attached as an image. Here are the things I've tried: Reinstalling Firefox multiple times, both the exe and the msi Running Firefox as administrator Deleting/renaming the profiles.ini file and the Firefox folder Trying to make the folder not read only with the properties Trying to make another folder elsewhere that isn't in appdata roaming, which doesn't show the error message, but gives another message saying "your changes couldn't be saved" and closes firefox immediately without creating the profile (other screenshot)

Another thing to note is that I'm only able to install Firefox by running the installer as administrator, because it shows an error message "can not create temp folder archive" and stops working.

Please help, I really want to use this browser.

I have two issues. One is on register.com. I can go their home page but when I select login, I get taken to a blank page; nothing. Yet, on my laptop, and with Firefox, I can login just fine as I can with MS Edge on this computer.

The other issue is with the Puzzle page of USA TODAY NEWSPAPER. I have included a page explaining the issue and with pictures.

turned on firefox today to find it had been updated. new page proudly p[roclaims that i can now edit pdf's in firefox, which is great because i want to be able to collate pdf files. i walked away from adobe years ago because they're just as evil as google-

but the 'try it now' link opens a page that is just an image of a form that looks like a joke [?] a letter to [fill out?] that seems dumb and a waste of time: https://assets.mozilla.net/wnp135-en/wnp-fx135-en.pdf

was i silly to expect seeing a privacy-assured web application to upload pdf's and edit them?

but this page does nothing, one can do nothing with it at all. was it supposed to be something one can actually type into the fields? if so, didn't anybody at mozilla test it first?

For several weeks now, I have been unable to upload videos to a group in Facebook using Firefox. Previously, I posted a video almost daily. The loading wheel keeps spinning. This in Windows 11 Pro version 24H2 with Firefox 135.0 (64 bits).

how do I keep the profile available when I close Firefox? in trying to transfer Firefox bookmarks from Windows 10 on one computer to Firefox on a new one using Windows 11?

Need to know how to get my profile data reloaded into new version after upgrading.

• New version does not support previous version profile data format
• App startup or firefox -P in windows 10 says "Old formats are corrupted when used, create a new profile or Exit".
• The profile data and folders and files are there from before the upgrade today, but Firefox does not read or support its own file formats. Examining SQLite places File format says SQLite 3 in header.

• Would have been good to know before upgrading, especially as often as it prompts to do so that the key data format for a profile is not supported after upgrading.

• The upgrade does not migrate, move, prompt or even warn. Just steam rolls and assumes you know Firefox's support-ability limitations and choices of its own products before running.

• No information on how to get around "Old profile scan corrupt, create a new one" message on browser startup and get back to or import all my browser info (Bookmarks, Passwords, Cookies). Just tips on how to export or backup before upgrading (See "a" above)

I've tried installing firefox on Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) but am having issues starting firefox. Steps I took to get the error (following [installation guide for local user] Local Firefox installation in user's account : 1. Download firefox tar file 2. Extract contents `tar xjf firefox-*.tar.bz2` 3. Add the new path to PATH 4. Run firefox I get the error "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible."

Steps I took to try to resolve this: 1. Move old ~/.mozilla to ~/.mozilla_backup 2. Ensure appropriate permissions for all directories in ~/.mozilla 3. Play around with profiles.ini in the ~/.mozilla/firefox directory. (created new .ini file with fake content and associated directories/files)

None of the above steps work. In fact, even commands like `firefox -P` give the same error. Any help will be appreciated please.

Hi. Just recently firefox, which has been faultless for a long time, is now occasionally giving me "hmm, cannot find this site" messages for Google and BBC. Duckduckgo and chrome are operating normally.

What is the cause of this aberation?

After the last Firefox update I was signed out of my Mozilla account. When I went to sign back in my password wouldn't work. So I Forgot Passworded it and when I signed back in none of my passwords or account info is there. Why did this happen and how do I access my previous account info.

I own a website (chendersceramics.com) that I created several years ago and have always been able to visit without a problem. Today I got the message Secure Connection Failed and the site won't open. The error is Error code: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP. I haven't done anything to change the website recently, so why is this happening and how can it be fixed?
