How to sort Tab Groups alphabetically in the Add Tab to Group Menu?

I want to add tabs to groups bit the groups are changing their position and it would be very helpful to (optionally) have the freedom to sort Tab Groups to appear alphabetically in that menu!

But that should NOT affect the sorting order in the browser window!

But of course it also would be helpful to have the freedom to also sort the tab groups order in the main windows, but please make it a different sort order than in the Add to Tab Group menu dropdown.

Randomly my firefix just get loggedout and when i immediately logged it in again using mozilla i cant see my bookmarks my other accounts my profiles and all my groups and other information it was like i had made a fresh account all my data is lost what to do ? PLZ help i really want my data back i have been trying to get my data. Working on it for last hour.

I was just surprised to see this in an Apache HTTP log: "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Firefox/58.0.1"

This bugs me. My first guess would be that a Webkit based Firefox could not be qualified as really Firefox. Although that, I could imagine a Firefox for iOS or MacOS based on Webkit, may be, but it says it is on Windows, which makes less sense.

I suspect this is a user agent string spoofing, but I just need to be sure (I try to get ride of far too invasive bots, while I’m afraid to disrupt browsing from legitimate web users).

why did this error occur, wven tho https - only mode was disabled. and i wsa not not able to login the mathworks.com reset password webpage, i wsa able to sign in. this did not occur on firefox. i think it has something to do with hsts Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.mathworks.com/mwaccount/account/resetpassword" on this server. The Firefox default behaviour to reload a page for view-source even when it is already in memory is unnecessary and causes many difficulties when tracking CGI bugs.

This unnecessary reloading can be turned off by setting accessibility.blockautorefresh to true.

However, fixing these stupid page reloads this way introduces another hyper-annoying behaviour: then Firefox blocks redirects.

So this accessibility setting is bad in both possible settings. Is there a possibility to prevent reloading pages for view-source while still allowing redirects?

I'm exploring Steam Deck desktop mode more and I'm running into issues with Firefox not rendering some videos on my personal website. I wasn't sure if it was a Steam Deck, KDE Plasma, Firefox, or an issue with something else, so I tested the same website with Vivaldi and the video played without any issues. This makes me feel like it's probably Firefox, but not totally sure yet.

I've already tried adjusting the autoplay media permissions for the website from the default to "Allow Audio and Video" in case that was doing something. I've also tested in Troubleshoot mode to see if the one extension I have installed was causing any issues and that didn't change anything either. Any other ideas I can try? Or, is there some way to determine if this needs a bug fix/there's nothing I can do on my end?

I'm using Kubuntu 24.04. I saw it more than once. Firefox is frozen, no WiFi for example, and I have to kill it via terminal. After that it is not possible to retrieve the session (3 or 4 tab groups plus ~20 tabs)

I click "verify you are human" and it just loops back to the very same challenge. It isn't broken in other web browsers like Vivaldi for Linux. Or Firefox in Windows 11. Just Firefox for Linux.

Hello, Firefox has been giving me some troubles lately and I can't figure out how to resolve the problem. Since I haven't found any way to consistently reproduce crashes, it is very hard for me to tell if Troubleshoot Mode also experiences the crashes, and the time I can spend doing that is very limited. As previously stated, it is very inconsistent, but relatively frequent, sometimes it crashes very soon and several times in a day, others it doesn’t at all. Sometimes it crashes with several tabs open, sometimes with only one; sometimes it crashes while using a webapp, others it does so on the newspaper page. It might be more frequent while there are Electron Webapps open, but it's more a hunch than anything, since sometimes it happens without those. I am unable to download large files from an MS Sharepoint account in Firefox. Small files are fine (less than 100MB). Large files download fine if I use MS Edge browser but I don't want to have to use Edge unless absolutely necessary. Using Firefox Troubleshoot mode doesn't help. Clearing the cach/cookies etc doesn't help. When downloading a 600MB file, the download repeatably fails around 90-100MB. My OS is Linux Mint xfce64. Obviously MS doesn't like firefox for some reason, even in Troubleshoot mode. thanks in advance for any help.

I cannot add much to the description. I'll make the comment that having to look into the history to find a tab supposedly at hand is inefficient and a waste of time.

I want to upload the current version of Firefox. However, the system Administrator (who is me) will mnot allow me to do so. How do I change settings to allow for the upload.

If I open a tab to a specific google sheet I use it won't let me use the split view option (it's greyed out)

I would like to be able to split view the sheet so I can keep an eye on the running totals while I am entering data elsewhere on the sheet.

Split View is enabled and works on other tabs
