Hello. I'm having trouble using a password manager or auto script function within that password manager. It says please enable JavaScript within your browser. I use Firefox as my default browser. This is not the only time I've been asked to enable JavaScript. When I go to do so, Java is already enabled. So I can't figure this out without your help. Thank you

I have two machines running Windows 10 and Firefox 64 bit (synchronised and up-to-date). I recently noticed that the desktop is missing several Firefox bookmark folders, which contain hundreds of bookmarks.
How do I get the desktop fully synchronised with the laptop? Do I use backup? If I am to use backup, how do I see what is in backup, so that I know it is backimg up correctly? Do I reinstall the Firefox and import from backup?

My default search engine in Firefox settings is Google. I deleted Yahoo search from the list of browsers in my settings. Nevertheless, all of my searches recently began going through and using Yahoo search. This is the search path that comes up in the search box: https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/ . . . How can I stop this?

I'm using Windows 11 with the latest version of Firefox.
A few days ago I went to addictinggames.com and had no problem playing several games. Today I went there and every game I tried I received the following error "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information)."
Then I went to the site using Microsoft Edge and had no problems, every game I tried worked fine.
In Firefox I disabled both Adblocker Ultimate and Ghostery (My only extensions). Before I went to the site I deleted cookies and Temporary Internet Files and I still got the same error. Any ideas?

I recently got a large (30") 4k monitor because I have been having trouble reading text. But Firefox has become practically unusable.
Some sites display with giant text, and I have to press ctrl-minus several times to fit them on the screen.
Meanwhile, the text in the Bookmarks bar, tabs, and URL window are unreadably small.
I tried about:config and layout.css.devPixelsPerPx, which currently seems to have a NEGATIVE value of -1.5. Per directions, I changed it to 1.5. NOTHING. NO CHANGE.
Then I found an endless series of possible fixes, all involving similarly opaque and obscure and user-unfriendly steps.
I might have to abandon Firefox, after all these years, over this. Anybody got a simple fix?
(I now see that I'm actually having the same problem in Windows Explorer, so maybe that's where I need to go to fix this.)
Thanks!

For the last couple of days, the address bar on the web apps that I've installed to my taskbar has been shrunk to about a third its usual length. I don't have flexible space put anywhere on my toolbar, and the problem is only on the sites I've put in the taskbar, not in regular browser windows. Is there a way to fix it, and get it back so it reaches all the way to the extension icons?

Yesterday on Firefox, I discovered that when I Googled questions, the tabs loaded with a blank 2” left margin indented space. See screenshot attached. This occurred after FF update 147.0, and I have Mac Tahoe 26.2. I see from researching this that it’s a problem after the last FF update, as follows:
The left margin indentation glitch in Firefox 147.0 on macOS Tahoe is a known issue, likely related to rendering or graphics settings conflicts within the new macOS version. Potential fixes include disabling hardware acceleration or checking specific feature flags in about:config.
I refreshed FF, and now all bookmarks I had minimized have the 2” blank margin. How do I get it back to normal so that the text has no huge left margin?

Hi,
Why are the minimize, maximize and restore buttons not visible?
Sometimes these buttons on the browser window appear, and sometimes all three buttons are not visible. Never had this problem until recent Firefox updates somehow affected this. I cannot tell which update was unaffected since, but this is an ongoing problem and the browser window is blank with no buttons on the top right hand corner. The only solution is to use the file menu and select exit from the list. I may have to open and close Firefox several times until the button icons are visible again. See example screenshots.
P.S. I'm using a 32" monitor if this helps.

Two step verification is set up on all my email accounts via webmail - Verizon/AOL, Gmail, and Yahoo. I never set it up, and when I go in to the mail applications' prefererences it's turned off. But when I try to sign into any of my webmail sites it insists on sending me a code and I have to go back to Thunderbird and open the emails containing the verification code. I specifically go to web mail because spam folders aren't available in Thunderbird and I need access to the spam so I can turn it in to Spamcop. (Mac desktop, OS 15.7.1)

In Australia, the Government Weather Bureau Service website site is WWW.bom.gov.au. When try to connection to various pages on this website, it can take up to 15 secs for page to appear. If I use Chrome, this problem does not occur. On searching Google, one suggestion is the fact that WWW.bom.gov.au only allows unsecured access ie. only allows http:// access not https://. Is there a setting in Firefox which will allow both types of access? I have tried in Settings/Privacy&Security/HTTPS-Only Mode to allow exceptions, but this does nothing. Any advice please. So I have two Google accounts, let's call them Antelope and Bear. Antelope is my "main" account, but I use Bear for a lot of things too, which includes Gemini. So, if I want to use the Gemini chatbot option on Firefox's sidebar, it would make the most sense to use it under my Bear account, since that way I can access my previous chats and all that. However, when I open the Gemini chatbot, it automatically logs me in as Antelope. And when I click on the account's profile picture to swap to Bear, it instead opens the Gemini site on a new tab, in which I am indeed logged in as Bear, but the sidebar remains stuck on the Antelope account. I've tried the "reload Gemini" option, restarting Firefox, and clearing the cache, but nothing works. I think I could fix it by logging out of both accounts, then logging in only as Bear, letting the sidebar "grab" that account, and then logging in as Antelope, but I wanted to know if there's an easier/cleaner way to go about it. Thank you in advance.
