When I hover the cursor over the Firefox icon all my open windows appear but they no longer shrink to fit the screen. Since the thumbnails don't shrink, the last windows opened disappear off the edge of the screen and I can't find a way to drag them back into view. In the past if I opened too many thumbnails they used to shrink, then turn into a list. I can't find anything in settings to fix this. Please help.

Whenever I try to load a video on a website it constantly buffers and loads. The pictures don't even load. However, if I keep that tab and switch to a different one, after ~20 seconds the audio will begin playing and the video itself will load. But, if I switch back to that tab the video will stop playing and begin buffering again. I have already tried disabling all of my extensions/add-ons, turned down certain performance settings, and enabled some video-audio permissions. Other applications load videos just fine.

Suddenly started getting a crash notice every time I closed or 'hid' Firefox. This morning I gave up and opened Safari. Tried to then open Firefox to get a password and found the entire app was gone. I had to go to Mozilla and load it again. It loaded with all my info so it must have been on my Macbook Pro somewhere? I THINK this started after a recent OS update on my Mac, which has included lots of annoying changes, esp to Mail. FYI, I'm running Sequoia 15.6. Why is this happening and is there anything I can do to solve it?

Before Firefox added Tabs, I added the Simple Tab Groups extension. How do I move the contents of my many STG tabs into Firefox tabs? Also, there are different colored boxes on my top bar, with my STG tabs, and hovering yields "Unnamed Group Expanded/Collapsed." are these FF tabs?

I am trying to switch from DuckDuckGo to Firefox browsers.

Firefox is not remembering and auto-filling passwords.

I appear to have all the proper checkboxes checked in Settings.

I exported 1260 passwords from DuckDuckGo. Upon importing the resulting .CSV file (which contains hundreds of passwords), Firefox reports ZERO imports!

I can edit the .CSV file as necessary, but Settings help does not document the required schema.

So how can I import my passwords from DuckDuckGo, which appears to be a Firefox fork?

Based on my settings, is there some reason Firefox is not remembering passwords I've entered? I've been using it for a couple weeks, and have manually entered MANY passwords, but it shows only one, from way before I started using it! If I try to delete passwords, it asks if I want to delete "167 passwords", but when I ask to see them, it shows only that old one.

I did use Firefox years ago; is there some preference file I should delete to make password-filling work again?

I'm fairly computer savvy, but this is becoming frustrating!

I'm stunned. I decided to try the "tab holder" feature that just appeared at the top of my sidebar with open tabs. I don't know why, but the tab holder went away, and with it the entire sidebar went blank. All my open tabs, my visual memory bank of places I frequent, just vanished.

I'm sick. Totally disabled by this.

Is there a place where newly added features are discussed, with instructions, etc.?

And how can I get my old sidebar list of tabs to come back?

How do I turn off the sliding arrows so I can see all my pinned tabs at once? I do not like the pinned websites to be hidden?! Wish you would stop changing things.

The scrollbar slider isn't displaying correctly. If I grab the screen, zoom in, and look very carefully, it is possible to see that the slider is a very slightly different darker shade of grey to the rest of the scrollbar, but it's almost impossible to see, so something is clearly not working properly here. The scrollbar should be highly visible as it's the most often-clicked control of the entire browser.

I have option turn on to open new tab for a new webpage. I want it to only open new tab for a new website, but not with ever webpage I look at at the same website. Can you help?

Hey everyone, I recently switched to Firefox and have been running into an issue: when I scroll down with my mouse wheel, the browser sometimes jumps back a page as if I had pressed the side mouse button.

I’ve tested my mouse in other apps and browsers, and the issue doesn’t appear anywhere else, it only happens in Firefox, which is confusing. I’ve tried looking it up but haven’t found a solution.

Has anyone else experienced this or know what might be causing it?

I use vertical tabs and the new tab group feature which allows you to assign a group heading for 1 or more tabs. When I right click on a tab I can create a new tab group. Below this option is a button labeled "Closed Groups". If I want to use one of these and check it, the tab I want to assign to it is closed and the group name is not listed in the sidebar. It seems the "Closed Groups" can no longer be used. There is no way to get rid of them and I end up creating duplicates as new tab groups with the same names. I want to either delete the Closed Groups or be able to reuse them. Any solution for this problem?

Hi. I've been having trouble with Firefox.

When I enter a certain website (https://app.helpwise.io/) using my PC, after a few minutes my internet connection gets disabled. When I try to run 'Diagnose Network Problems' in Win11, no issues.

First time this happened, a restart fixed the problem. Second time, a DNS flush fixed it. But after that, those solutions don't work anymore.

I initially thought it was that website (which I use for work) but I tried running that website on my Android phone using Firefox as well and I did not have any connectivity issues.

So, I tried running the website in Chrome - no issues. I did work side by side with Firefox opened as all my bookmarks for work are there, and eventually after a few hours my internet was disconnected again - even though https://app.helpwise.io/ was not opened in Firefox.

I have tried refreshing Firefox, then disabling all extensions and running https://app.helpwise.io/ and still it immediately disabled my internet.

There are some times that it even turned OFF my Avast anti-virus.

I have tried running Avast and Malwarebytes and no virus or malware was detected.

I still want to use Firefox and I'm now thinking of formatting my computer. But when I run Firefox again after formatting, I may have the same issue.

Can anyone help?

The Firefox Icon in the top left now has taken more space below it next to the bookmarks, and after closing and opening the browser, the Icon is now sharing space with my tabs. Not sure what caused it, disabling all extensions and themes did nothing. If I can't figure anything out from here I may try to reinstall Firefox entirely, would just rather not have to go through that and have to set everything up again.
