Instructions on changing primary email address not helpful-prompted to access Accounts but profile displayed would not let me edit my primary email address. When attempted to add secondary address was notified that code was sent to my old email address was was compromised & deleted by security of my carrier Want to add new email address & add secondary email account. Assistance greatly appreciated

My Windows 10 system uses a powered amplifier to provide audio. As long as I have had this computer, the same volume level has worked for music through Itunes, satellite radio and all videos that come through Firefox. For example, 10 is the normal setting. Recently, somehow the audio must be turned up to about 30 on all videos that come through Firefox from whatever source site. The 10 setting stills works for all other audio sources. I don't know how this happened, rebooting, turning system off, etc doesn't have any impact. Is there some setting that either has changed or can be changed to restore the same volume levels for all input sources? Thanks.

The background on the homepage link shortcut boxes keeps reverting to black and text underneath to white on my off-white background when a new version loads. I've used Colors to customize the look of my firefox but can't find any control for that. Once a new version kept the boxes white and the text black but now it's back to black again. Where is the control to fix this?

All of a sudden, Twitter will not let me log in on Firefox (Windows 11 laptop). It works on my phone, tablet, and other browsers. When I try to log into Twitter on Firefox, I get an error saying "Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later. " I have already tried updating the browser, clearing my cache, and clearing my cookies and I'm still having the issue. What can I do to fix this?

I got mad at a website that wouldn't let me right click menu to save pictures, so I stubbornly saved them via less efficient means, in the process I picked up the Long Screenshot extension and this had an error shortly before or after I had an issue with Lightshot not appearing, other extensions did not appear either when I added them during this time period, but now these all appear with the exception of Lightshot, which gets deleted and reinstalled only to not appear, that of course being the problem, though I will also say that a right click menu not being there is like reaching onto my computer and pulling my finger away, sites that do that should be given the cold shoulder somehow, at least.

Hi. How do I give permission to Firefox to open a webpage? There seems to be a firewall issue or something? Please provide the exact steps to allow a URL to be opened with my permission. How do I grant access / grant permission to access a specific site? Thanks. FYI: I'm a bit frustrated and I have a deadline coming up soon.

I have completely separate bookmarks and bookmark toolbars on my work PC and home PC. I do log in on my home PC as to not lose my personal bookmarks and passwords. I accidentally logged into Firefox at work and it merged my bookmarks from my home PC. I logged out of Firefox on the work PC and removed the bookmarks that were imported from my home PC profile. I then tried to make a new account with my work email and login to sync on my work PC but it always says primary email needed and I'm stuck. I did go to about:profiles and add a work profile but that doesn't help me. I need to make a Firefox profile on my work PC with my work email address but the primary email thing gets me. Is there a way to do this with my current work PC bookmarks not lost? Thanks

I have a world icon on tool bar with a red triangle notification. when i press on it it says "Cant connect to application" check your configuration. It does not allow me to open either statement. What is this?

I was using Ctrl+K on some websites to do things like site-specific search, task bars, and so forth, but recently Firefox started capturing it for focusing on the search/address bar (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly#w_search).

Is there a way to unbind `Ctrl+K` in Firefox?

Google Chrome is closed and ive checked task manager to make sure that its not open in the background.

I choose my main account from google chrome and choose to import passwords and bookmarks and it says that it successfully imported it but my passwords and bookmarks are not showing up on mozilla.

I was busy logging in to Firefox (today's update) using my account and wished to store my login info, but the link upon login was a long useless address specific to the post-login screen and related to adding more devices. I opened a new tab but this was, apparently, a sticky login and the new tab was logged in as well. I logged out of that tab with the obvious (hindsight) effect of interrupting the previous tab/s.

Long story short, the immediate effect was the message in the subject line of this mail. Firefox locked my account and I need it unlocked.

The 100 release of Firefox turned half of my desktop web site shortcut icons to PDF icons. Why? And why only some? I have some URL shortcuts that I have no control over the icon (no change icon selection under properties). How do I get these changed back, other than redoing all the changed ones? Thanks, Wayne

When I type a term in the address bar or in any search engine...nothing. Links don't work from open pages. Typing a URL in the address bar doesn't work unless it's a site I've been to previously. It's very frustrating. Everything works fine in Chrome...and I hate Chrome.

So I updated today as requested and now all the sites I had previously checked to allow pop ups etc on are no longer functioning.

Why dod you not include copying these settings in your update,

What a massive waste of my time

When playing videos on youtube or any other platform the volume is very low to non-existent. When a new video starts there is a sudden surge, whereafter it rapidly returns to a non-audible level. I have tried checking the volume settings in Windows and Firefox but nothing has helped thusfar. Please help me resolve this issue so I can go back to using my favourite browser again.
