Trying to remove the mouse-over to reveal the address bar while I am in fullscreen. It's annoying and gets in the way. I tried a previous answer from like 8 years ago but it didn't work. Really wish we had toggles for these things so we didn't HAVE to use them.

i have been using the old yahoo for years and now it seems they changed the layout to resemble google. it sucks. if i wanted googles layout i would use my google email. if i use this term https://mail.yahoo.com/d/settings/1 i get the old yahoo setup screen and then i have to click return to mail and the old screen stays until i either restart the pc or restart fire fox. i do not see in fire fox setting an area that lets me put in a startup term like chrome has that will restart yahoo in the view i like. being that view is still there.

When a piece of text is drag-and-dropped onto FF, FF navigates to that text. So, when I am filling a form and accidentally drop the text outside a text field, FF navigates away from the page with the form I am trying to fill. I have been using FF for more than 10 years and never found this behavior to be useful. Only annoying and counter productive. If FF at least opened a new tab, I could close it and not lose the work done so far. But ideally there would be no navigation at all. Dropping a piece of text on a webpage should not trigger any navigation. I need a setting to disable that behavior completely. PLEASE!!! 🙏

I am still waiting for you to remove Show All in config:editor. It was unnecessary and unwanted by your users. Just allow us to access config:editor the way we used to before this moronic change.

When I use ChatGPT in the Firefox sidebar, I can open a conversation normally. However, when I hide the sidebar and then show it again, ChatGPT leaves the conversation I had open and returns to the main page.

The conversation is not deleted from my history, but I have to find and reopen it every time I hide the sidebar.

Is there a setting that allows the sidebar to keep the same ChatGPT conversation open after hiding and reopening it? Is this normal behavior, or could it be a Firefox bug?

I am using the latest version of Firefox on Windows 11.

When I simply hit my control button on my keyboard, it zooms out. and if I HOLD CTRL, it zooms ALL THE WAY TO...20% no other button is hit. just control. yes I tried unplugging it. CTRL-0 will bring it back to 100% but as soon as I hit CTRL again it does it zooms out again. chrome has no issue with this so I know its Firefox issue. simple google searches are no help. Any ideas?

I open the sidebar, search for something, and then minimize it. When I focus back on the page and return to the sidebar again, my last query is gone and a new page screen appears. I want to continue from where I left off, just like in Opera. This also causes issues in other applications. For example, when we add WhatsApp to the sidebar and open it, we have to wait for WhatsApp to reload every single time. Without these features, there is no point in using the sidebar.

It appears that popup windows are blocked, stopping this SCORM package from playing. Please check your browser settings before trying again. Guidance on how to do this can be found here.

The new "Copy Link to Highlight" button shifted the "search with" option down, which I use regularly.

I'm not entirely sure what the new option does, but I would like to either disable it or shift it further down out of the way

I do not have any of the Deprecated preference settings in use.

The error presented is -2016281112 and checking the respective settings in about:config on a synchronised device shows that the settings have not applied.

Feedback on Firefox Widgets – Missing Indian Standard Time (IST)

I noticed that the World Clock widget includes Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) but does not provide an option for Indian Standard Time (IST). This is surprising given that India has one of the world's largest internet user bases and a significantly larger population than many countries currently represented.

India operates on a unique UTC+5:30 time zone used by over 1.4 billion people, making it one of the most widely used time zones globally. The absence of IST while neighboring time zones are available feels like a major oversight and reduces the usefulness of the widget for Indian users and anyone who regularly works with Indian colleagues, clients, friends, or family.

Please consider adding Indian Standard Time (IST) to the World Clock widget as a standard option. Its inclusion would greatly improve the widget's global coverage and usability.

Firefox 151.0.1 64 bit for Arch Linux I am trying to create a desktop app from a website - the ai is saying if there is no + sign in the url box then try More Tools -> Create Shortcut but there is no Create shortcut there. So how to create a desktop app from a website?

I have bookmarks saved in folders on the Bookmarks Toolbar, when i open the folders the list is drop down as usual but using the mouse wheel is too fast. I recently adusted mouse settings in about:config for smoother scrolling on webpages. Is there a separate mouse wheel setting for the bookmarks?
