I frequently experience delays in accessing my e-books on loan from Worcestershire County Council library. It seems as though Firefox is being Blocked. Does anyone else have experience of this problem?

Cannot log on to synology when I have been logging on many times before now your browser says Unable to connect. I will need to change browsers if I do not get a response.

On an email chain that started about 10 minutes ago, I suddenly can't respond, getting a message that a pop-up blocker of some sort prevents it. Plus the message opens up on a different page with it as the only tab. I didn't make any changes, as far as I know. How can I get gmail to return to the way it was 10 minutes ago?

Ich habe einen DEepl Pro Account. Mein Standardbrowser ist Firefox. Ich melde mich im Firefox-Browser für die Desktop-App an. Es erscheint der Hinweis: "Du hast dich erfolgreich angemeldet und wirst gleich zur App weitergeleitet." Die Weiterleitung scheint von Firefox blockiert zu werden (wozu eigentlich???). In den Einstellungen ist meine Präferenz für Deepl.com korrekt aktiviert. Ich möchte Firefox als Standardbrowser nicht aufgeben, doch das scheint die einzige bekannte Lösung zu sein, die sofort hilft. Ich nutze an einem PC mit Windows 11.

Meine Frage: Wo kommt dieser Bug her und wie muss ich Firefox genau einstellen, damit solche Blockaden nicht passieren?

(Ich beobachte solche dummen, unerwünschten Blockaden in Firefox leider häufig, nehme dann manchmal den Link und öffne ihn einfach in Chrome, was immer problemlos möglich ist. Ich möchte nicht die Funktionalität des Browsers mit endlos vielen "Sicherheitseinstellungen" erwürgen.)

I am using Firefox to conduct Securus Jpay video connect visits and I have been unable to join a scheduled session due to what I believe is failure of the downloaded VRE client to load. When I do a precall test, everything, including the VRE client works correctly and I'm told that I will be able to run a session successfully. However, just as the video connect visit is about to begin, I am told to download the VRE client to continue. I have don't this multiple times, deleting each prior download and re-doing the download +installation. It's been very frustrating and I've tried everything. Up until about 2 weeks ago, everything was working smoothly. I'm stumped. Please help. thank you.

I may have a problem with the new Firefox version 152: from my online application, I send a command string to a local printer reachable at https://192.168.1.xxx. It often succeeds, but sometimes it gets blocked. I don't understand what the problem might be because I don't get any error messages. The only thing I see that's different from the usual is this:

However, it looks like an informational message saying everything is OK.

It seems that Firefox sometimes waits before sending the XHR call, which causes the call to time out. I have no evidence to confirm this. I don't know where to look for evidence. What can I do?

i need to block a site from a redirect that interferes with every page gone to on the site. the page that pops up every time is https://ultimatesurferprotector.com/lp5.php it is just some dumb program someone is trying to force people to see and i do not want to see it. please remove its ability to appear in my browser. thanks.

I am on a trusted webpage - click for further info - cloudfare security pops up but does not work so cannot pass to a trusted website or article etc

Also, whenever one of my emails provides a link to a trusted secure source it now takes ages to download and I do not know why.

These two problems never ever existed before so why now?

Hello, since 3 days on my windows pc I am not able to see the google login page and use gmail at all. The error message tells Javascript has to be installed. It all worked fine days ago.

I asked AI: "I'm being prevented from using options which cause pop ups but I don't think I've deliberately changed any settings. I want to use "analyze the board" on the Gameknot website but I'm being prevented from using it. How can I get it back?" I followed the instructions: "Mozilla Firefox: Click the three lines (top right) > Settings > Privacy & Security > Permissions. Go to the "Pop-up windows" section and click Exceptions, then add https://gameknot.com" but I haven't re-acquired use of the pop up I ant to continue working. I want it back and its extremely irritating as the work around is very long and boring.
