After the last update, shortcuts disappeared from the Home screen. I tried adding them manually, but nothing happened.

(Categorized as "accessibility" because I feel this is a vision-related issue - if I mistagged the topic please correct me... I don't know where aesthetic issues go.)

Image 1 is how the file explorer looks with a lighter Firefox theme (my main one), Image 2 is with a slightly darker theme. Both are primarily light blue, so I'm not sure why this has happened.

I have my computer and most websites I use on dark mode because I have an easier time reading white on black or dark grey than I do black on white when it gets later in the day. I want to be able to have the darker file explorer with my theme of choice, since light mode kind of burns my eyes...

Is this a new feature added in the most recent update, or something? I haven't had this issue prior to today - if it's a new thing, is there a way to turn off the light file explorer so that I don't have to change themes?

My old Firefox on my desk top has a home icon to go back to the home page. This new Firefox on my laptop doesn't seem to have one? What am I missing? How do I get back to the home page?

Firefox will not load my default page (gmail inbox) when launched. It takes me instead to the google help page, specifically for cookies and cache clearing. My other installed browsers work fine with launching my google account and all its apps. Image upload below is of the page that pops up. The sign-in button does not work.

This page is being loaded correctly by Safari and by Google Chrome.

I subscribe to the Epoch Times. I have frequently had issues with being able to read the comments on articles. Today I contacted the Epoch Times and was suggested to try Edge or Google browsers. Using Edge, I had no problem reading the comments on any article, but going back to Firefox all I got was a blank page saying "Something went wrong". Apparently there is an issue with the Firefox browser, either I have a setting wrong, or the browser itself is not accepting the page code for the comments.

I have been using the Firefox browser for years on the exact same computer running windows 8.1 that isn't having any issues or problems. Over the last 6 months the browser has been crashing every single day regardless of utilizing every setting mentioned in the help articles, numerous "refreshes" (numerous times it also freezes during refresh) and numerous reinstalls have done nothing. Every single day the browser crashes and I have to restart it or my whole computer. This is my last attempt to figure out what's happening before I stop ever using it again.
