I have been trying to install Firefox on a Windows computer running Windows 10 Pro. I have two users on the computer. I have installed Firefox successfully on the main user but every time I try to install for the second user, it does not install. it says it failed and leaves a strange icon on the desktop which, when I click, it deletes the file. I am not sure why. I have installed the same on 11 other computers with two users and no problem with those ones.

The Firefox Relay website has a link to a survey for users. I was unable to submit the survey in any browser (firefox, chrome, or safari) .

It kept flagging an error that I hadn't filled out the last question (which browsers I use on a regular basis.) even though it was filled out.

Anyway thought you all might want to know in case you haven't been getting survey responses.

Anytime Firefox opens it is asking for my Primary password. This has been happening for 2 or 3 weeks. I can enter my password or click cancel. But if I close and reopen the browser it happens again, regarless of what page I am on. (Annoying when clicking a link to read a short article) I do not have AVG or ISlet (sp?) installed. I tried that solution and it did not work.

Suggestions on how to debug, diagnose or fix appreciated.

I use a 55 inch TV as my computer monitor with Windows7 OS. All of a sudden this week the animations are on every site... Netflix just became unbearable to watch. I have already gone though the steps to turn off all animations in Firefox. I performed these steps...

'''in about:config - type : toolkit.cosmeticAnimations.enabled - set it to : false - type : toolkit.scrollbox.smoothScroll - set it to : false'''

This did NOTHING to turn off the nauseating animations. Every time I scroll a web page I feel motion sickness. Every movie I watch now looks like garbage.

I ALSO have turned off ALL animations in Windows7... so this is really upsetting. Movies I have downloaded seem to play fine in VLC player, but if I use my browser to watch a video, it is now unbearable because of these garbage animations wreaking havoc on my screen.

So Im trying to download a 1.19GB file and get 300mb/s ethernet speed using speedtest.net/ Now normally from my experience its never taken longer that 10 sec to Download such a file. Although since today, either Firefox or my pc has decided to limit download speed to 90kb/s which means this is going to take 3h or so to download. I use Windows 10, don't have a metered plan enabled or any other wifi/ethernet speed limiting things, and no third party security software. Anyone have any ideas why this could be happening? Many thanks in advance

Firefox often times out when accessing paypal.com and other sites that use certificates from DigiCert. The same sites can be accessed reliably, from the same computer at the same time, using chromium-based browsers.

The problem goes away if I disable the check to query OCSP responder, which may indicate the cause of the problem.

Often the sites can be accessed after restarting firefox, but after a few tries the problem recurs. This is not a solution as PayPal is often accessed in the last steps of an online purchase.

Since the update, I'm unable to access ANY protected directories on any sites (those where a small modal dialog box appears at the top of the page asking for a uid/pwd pair and displaying the name of the realm above that). The dialog box doesn't even appear, the page does not change from its previous location, and the "I'm thinking" animation in the tab continues forever without ever seeing an error message.

Any suggestions? Must I downgrade? (uck)
