Hi

For some reason I can't hear anything when playing videos on youtube using Firefox. All my videos/music on the pc play fine. If I use Chrome all the youtube videos work fine as well. I have no idea what I have turned off or done. Can you help please

Hello My Firefox started to crash as soon as I open it ever since it was upgraded to version 115. It doesn't any crash report either. I even uninstalled, cleared Windows 10 registery and reinstalled it, but that didn't help.

See attached image. Using Firefox to WatchESPN (https://www.espn.com/watch/) will not go to full screen but leaves black bars at bottom and both sides. This does not happen with Edge or Opera so I use one of those to watch this stream. I get WatchESPN through Spectrum. This happens with both my desktop (Windows 10) and my ASUS laptop (Windows 11). Software versions are all current.

Video from other sources (You Tube, facebook, etc) works fine on all 3 browsers.

I use Kaspersky Total security and Firefox keep getting sites blocking me , my Wifi provider is BT Internet and they have had an engineer in checking the Wifi and verified everything ok there end , I open Firefox go to my favourites and click the site I wish to open then I get messages About this page

Firefox sloooow to begin working. SOOOOOO frustrated!! I'm going to have to abandon Firefox ( user for many,many years) because I just can't take it any longer. I am writing this from MS Edge. It's so weird though, as when I start the day it just takes forever for Firefox to begin loading a page (ANY page). So i open Edge and it works. I open Google Earth, it works. I can check and get/send emails. Whatever. Just not Firefox. Eventually, in it's on time, Firefox kicks in, and then is works great all day.

I'm a Firefox user for many years. The Irish Government Revenue service provide a facility where forms can be completed offline and then uploaded. Recently they brought out a new version which can aparently be used only on Edge or Chrome whereas previously Firefox was always supported. They say it because Firefox does not support this API:

I'm sort of mad over this as I believe governments should be bending over backwords to support organisations like Mozilla. I'd really appreciate any info you could give me so that I could pursue the matter further.

Whenever I try to print/save a website to Google drive I get the error message attached to this support request. I don't have this problem when using Google Chrome. Any suggestions you could provide would be greatly appreciated! I'm using Firefox version 115.

Updated to v.115.0 in Private browsing window, which prompted Malwarebytes "dangerous webpage" (or words to that effect ... displayed for ~0.7 sec)

since the below topic has been solved and therefore closed, I thought I should chime in to deliver additional information.

I've recently had to move to a new laptop, and discovered that the great solution provided in the above topic didn't seem to work anymore, although I did make sure to restore the userChrome.css file in the new laptop.

Fortunately I found a solution in the following page, which incidentally mentions the above topic in this forum : https://mybyways.com/blog/remove-address-bar-in-firefox-windows

Long story short : once the userChrome.css has been edited/created, one needs to :

->  go to the about:config page
-> search for the item "toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets"
-> toggle it from false to true
-> restart Firefox
-> bingo ! the trick works again, one can open a new FF window from a script (window.open) and have the address bar totally hidden

(thus allowing for an entirely clean U/I : no address, no menu, no bookmark bar, no status bar etc... provided the required script code is used (window.open options))

Since I've received great help from this forum, I thought I should give back some. :)

• network.negotiate-auth.allow-proxies = true
• network.negotiate-auth.delegation-uris = <AD SERVER>
• network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris = <AD SERVER>
• network.negotiate-auth.using-native-gsslib = true

still the auto login for trusted sites are not working for linux, The domain join configured properly.

Hello. someone kindly help me. I cannot access my wordpress site back end from firefox but when I try on private tabs it works and also works on chrome also which honestly speaking is breaking me apart. I have disabled all extensions etc and it cannot work at all. Someone please help

Since the update firefox keep freezing & not responding, everything is slowed down, even me typing right now is tedious(i mean firefox having brain freeze), videos buffering is messed up (it's been so many years since i saw the circle of loading in youtube, i wasn't missing that), loading pages, clicking on things, scrolling, moving FF windows... So you name it, EVERYTHING in my mozilla is tedious/buggy, tried clearing my history, cache etc... Changed nothing. I managed to reduce a bit the slowdowns by clearing the booting cache of mozilla, but the problem is still there. I did not tried troubleshooting mode, but i did try Privacy mode, and mine doesn't have any addons and it was exactly the same. looked into the firefox task manager, everything seems normal. So i believe this is linked to the update. Here's my spec (PS: i do not have ANY hardware problems, everything is perfectly setup) W10 22H2 Ryzen 9 3900X RTX 3070 FE 8Go 16Go DDR4 CPU cooler Noctua NH-U12A Power EVGA 650 GQ, 650W

I can not load Hulu in the Firefox browser anymore. I am able to do so perfectly on Edge, so I know its not my internet. But it just stays on the previous page and is stuck in a loading loop, but I have no issue with any other website, so I am unsure if I should get support from you or Hulu.

Until a few days ago, Firefox on my computer always opened as a new window when I clicked on the icon at the bottom of the taskbar. But then suddenly something happened; the icon went "white" and I had to first remove it and then put it back in the taskbar. Now Firefox does not open in the same way anymore. To be able to open a new window, you must right-click and select "open in new window". Previously, the "opening of a new window" happened automatically when I clicked on the icon. How do I get the old "opening" back, which I think is better?

I have been using my pc since forever. I will be borrowing my families laptop for studying and work, and i would like to transfer everything, even my layouts, tabs, plug in settings etc etc from my old pc to this laptop. Is this possible in a simple straightforward way? Also. Can i have my tabs always be synced between 2 out of my 3 devices? Lets say i am studying on a field, and have opened 10 tabs about the subject. And the time that i have to leave the house comes. I wouldnt like to have to reopen each and every tab from my laptop. I would like to just press the broswer, and have everything be the same way as it was with my pc

I have changed about:config settings to make the fullscreen notification not show up, but when i move my cursor up to my other monitor (other monitor above main monitor) i get a cut off notification that just stays there until i move my cursor back to my main monitor.
