I was having problems with overlays and somehow got to a page that allowed me to turn off overlays....I ignored the warning about some sites would not work properly and turned it on....now most sites do not work properly. I cannot find the page in setting to turn overlays back on. i have uninstalled and reinstalled with no results. I cannot find the page even on my other computers that i did not mess with. Where do i go to turn that switch back on?

Well it never opens when I write ww. Wattpad. Com it's loads then says err timed out iver asked chatgpt and it suggested ask firefox so here I am do you think wattpad will work on Firefox cause it isn't working on Chrome Also I want to read the accardi obessions series

I clicked the Facebook homepage shortcut instead of using my regular bookmark. The page eventually loaded to the login screen, which then led to a Captcha verification screen, and another, and another, etc., until I got back to the login. Whew! Okay. No, not okay, it prompted me to get a verification code by email. I entered the code to log in. It started again. Then again. Cleared cache, etc, restarted browser, all the usual, didn't help. I had to leave for work.

When I got home, I restarted my computer and reset the modem. I removed the homepage shortcuts. Used my regular Facebook bookmark and logged in. Why did this happen? I am now terrified of the Homepage Shortcuts! 🤡💀

I have cleared my cache but I still cannot access the open pages from the task bar. Some are trying to load but don't. They also don't shut down at once when I press the x command. Some pages are working OK.

from the firefox desktop I cannot go to the selected web site nothing happens. But edge works normally I find that my memorised passwords do not work unless I use EDGE I am forced to enter the address of the web site manually but then I am not recognised as a regular client and have to my password safe but the passwords there do not match the current password for the site. Going back to EDGE removes the problems In desperation I thought I would uninstall EDGE but cannot all I can do is modify it which means refreshing it. What can I do ps I am using windows 10

When I start an email using the FF browser I'll type the address correctly but the text on the screen is gibberish. See attached photo. When I move the cursor to the subject line, the gibberish turns to plain text.

I can't copy it so I took a photo and attached it. I deleted Firefox and then reinstalled it. This did not fix the problem.

How do I fix this problem?

When I log in to any forum, The address bar and the return circle with the clockwise arrow goes crazy and blinks off and on rapidly. All other sites work normal. I modified nothing. Yesterday it just kept on happening. Both computers are doing the same thing. Lenovo P520 Servers. The only way I can stop it is to kill the current tab.

I reinstalled Firefox and imported my bookmarks from a .json file that I made on 5/19/26. Firefox imported them but I can only open a handful of them. I can't even open Google or Yahoo mail. One time I got a message on a page that didn't open that says "Please enable JS and disable any ad blocker." I don't know how to disable JS and Google won't open so that I can find out how to do it. I have no ad blocker running.

Please let me know how this can be fixed.

I've bought many download images through Etsy, but I find I cannot access them through Etsy's web site, nor through the sellers web site. I get a message "problem loading page"

on and off issue for a few months now. i dont know if its a firefox issue, a youtube issue, or something else about my laptop. everything says i have the latest update, maybe part of an update broke youtube, i dont know for sure but at this point i have to assume its firefox because it works fine in another browser and mobile app, but i highly prefer to use firefox

sometimes a video will play normally until i "interact" with it: if i have to pause, it wont unpause if i fast forward or rewind, audio will do so but the video will not. or vice versa if i click a different video, whether the current one is done or not, the new one might load 70-75% but not complete and just stay on the current video after any of these happen, the page is basically unresponsive; i can open a new tab but youtube will not open in that tab, but anything else works completely fine. if i close the tab or browser, there is a delay before it actually closes and sometimes the audio is still playing after the browser closes, in which case i can only restart my laptop entirely.

ive tried to reprt this to youtube but i dont trust it actually got to human support. i also tried the "report a broken site" in firefox the other day.
