I recently wanted to switch to using Firefox passwords from LastPass. I imported my passwords from LastPass into Firefox Browser on my personal Laptop. I have enabled password sync, besides all other things. Yet the passwords do not seem to be syncing. I have been trying multiple things since yesterday, but nothing seems to fix the issue, like logging out and logging back in, trying to manually sync etc. This seems like a bug to me.
I wanted to start using Firefix passwords on my Android device as well, but this issue is making it difficult for me. Please look into this issue asap.

Hello,
When I tried to reply a mail , I cannot type. It started nearly 2 months ago. Can you please let me know how to fix it?

Hello, on one of my computers I have my new tab set to have 10 rows of pinned links. I went to `about:config` and copied the `browser.newtabpage.pinned` string. I then pasted it into the string on a new device I'm setting up, but it doesn't do anything.
Is there any way to get this working? My new tab on the device I'm setting up has none of the pinned links, just sites I commonly visit
Thanks, let me know if I need to provide any more information.

In Ebay - Print invoices link opens print preview window inside page -> I can view document (invoice) then click print button to open print window -> window opens but the document is blank, just a white page, no text. If I click print, it just prints a blank page. I can download the document as PDF from print preview page and this prints ok but I can't print directly from the ebay page. This only happens in Firefox. Works ok in Edge and Chrome. I have uninstalled Firefox including profiles etc and re-installed, problem still exists. I can print shipping labels via Ebay just not invoices. No issues with printing anything from any other ebay page or other websites.

I've noticed that while on Wi-Fi, having Firefox open on any webpage will cause consistent ping spikes every 5 seconds, making online games unplayable.
I've tested this normally, tried disabling all extensions, and tried troubleshoot mode. Task manager does not show any changes with CPU/Memory/Disk/Network under Firefox's process when these ping spikes happen, but the issue goes away immediately every time after closing out Firefox.
The webpage and what you are doing on that webpage does not matter (like streaming YouTube), it even happens after visiting google.com. However, I'll rarely get lucky and this issue won't occur while Firefox is open.
Issue does not occur with other browsers. If there is any additional info that I should provide please let me know.
I tried every option from the other posts answers. They wont work for me.

It's suppose to open a blank page. I set my preferences to open a blank page for a new tab. This never happened before until I updated my Firefox. I am using 110.0 Firefox browser on my Mac. I am running Mac OS 10.15.7
Never had this problem before and I did a clean install.

I have set up a fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04 and logged into Firefox. However it didn't sync my extensions and if I try to access addons.mozilla.org, I get a MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_KEY_PINNING_FAILURE error (screenshot attached).
This did not happen, when I did the same thing with a fresh Windows installation 2 hours earlier (I set up a dualboot system). I already tried logging out and in again and removing SiteSecurityServiceState.txt and ~/.mozilla, as well as emptying cache and deleting cookies without success.

Click on the Preferred Location dropdown with Firefox for Windows. You get the following.
Now do the same thing with Edge/Chrome on Windows or Firefox for Mac. You get this.
The font being used is Adobe ProximaNova-Reglar. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix it.

I am running FF v110.0 on Windows 10 (64). This version automatically downloaded and installed without my permission (I never allow any software to automatically update) - I found out about this a week or so ago. I've also reset the update settings to what they've always been.
Anyway, since that upgrade I am getting a blue box around whatever control I click on. This occurs on most web sites. I've tried the various suggestions from years ago (troubleshoot mode, about:config 'browser.display.focus_ring_on_anything' and 'browser.display.show_focus_rings' = false). This does not occur on any other browser and didn't occur on Firefox until the latest update.
How do I get rid of this? It is very annoying with several web sites I use daily.
Thanks,

A few versions ago, Firefox (Mac) changed behavior when clicking on a link in an outside program. Specifically, if Firefox is not running and I click a link in Outlook, Firefox opens the clicked link in a tab but also opens my homepage in a second tab. Since I'm only interested in the clicked link at this time I don't want it to open my home page, just the clicked link. This problem is exacerbated by my.yahoo.com which causes a switch from the tab containing the clicked link to the homepage tab.
How do I get Firefox to only open the link that I clicked and not my homepage in addition? This was the normal behavior until a few months ago.
Mac OS 11.7.4 Firefox 110.0.1
Thank you!

bold textFirefox has become a HUGE memory hog, and every update makes it worse. Would it be POSSIBLE for mozilla firefox to ACTUALLY listen? Instead of ASSUMING you already know EVERYTHING, pay attention to your users.........MOZILLA FIREFOX, WILL USE UP ALL MEMORY(IDLING). There are several THOUSANDS of posts stating that mozilla firefox is a HUGE memory HOG, and of course the people of firefox can NEVER be BOTHERED to listen to the public.
That is the problem, we are left without the slightest bit of help or service when mozilla decides to intentionally ruin our PC's. And absolutely no one will believe us when it's been stated THOUSANDS of times that mozilla firefox uses up ALL memory(on the net). Please do something, we the public are getting FED-UP, with a corporation that "just can't be bothered to ever help anyone". Hint: the incessant updates do more to make the users angry, than "improve a browsing experience". I'm seeing 500mgs and 12 windows forced open just to idle firefox, and this is directly after the update. email address: jimerb6@yahoo.com. Please explain away how it's all my fault, or my computer, or the net provider, this is wildly out of control. I await the least bit of offered help or service.

FOLLOWUP: Success! It turned out to be an extension called "Enhancer for YouTube". I added that because my add-ons had been wiped out by the update yesterday and forgot that it was a new one I'd never tried before.
Thank you Cor-el for pointing me in the right direction!
Using Windows 7. These were suggested. Of course none of them made the slightest difference.

Does anyone on here understand this stupid video "follow us and block the page for stupid reasons" thing? How can software designers be so brain dead and out of touch with the rest of the planet? I do wonder sometimes.

I have been trying for a year to get my newsletter subscriptions to go to my "new" (not so new, now) email address instead of an old one I have not used for a long time. There is no way it seems to alter the email address for subscriptions. And I cannot see how to sign up with my new email address. I really would like to receive information from Firefox/Mozilla.

Hello there,
I've been having problems with using Firefox for a while. For context, I'm using a computer given to me by my college because my personal laptop gave up the ghost a while ago. It has a lot of security programs installed on it and I am obviously not allowed to mess with those at all, as my account doesn't have the permissions. Here are some of the problems I've been having:
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox also, but nothing seemed to fix these problems. The only thing that stopped happening was being signed out of my Firefox account on relaunch but I have no idea what was causing it or what stopped it.
Now, in an attempt to fix the problems I was having with addons, I refreshed my Firefox. So far I haven't done anything to it other than sign into my Firefox account. Upon trying to reinstall my addons, I got errors like this: "An unexpected error occurred during installation." and "UBlock Origin could not be installed because Firefox cannot modify the needed file." For reference, here's all the addons I had installed before I refreshed: Tranquility Reader, HTTPS Everywhere, Better TTV, Shinigami Eyes, UBlock Origin, Windscribe, Enhancer for Youtube, Dark Reader, and Bitwarden. I tried installing UBlock Origin, Enhancer for Youtube, and Bitwarden, and got the exact same errors every time. I'm really lost on what to do.
