Fx 3.6.3. By default, all my history, cookies & cache are always cleared on close. I launched a new session and did nothing but sort my bookmarks. I did not visit any sites.

Yet my cache was full of entries to all of the sites whose bookmarks I had sorted.

Can someone explain to me why this happens? It seems like a privacy issue to me.

Firefox updated to 3.6 about 5 times onto my computer. Why is that? I open Firefox, and it upgrades to the new 3.6 and then about 3 days later, I open Firefox and it updates to 3.6 again.

Firefox keeps crashing when I access certain pages or try to do things in fantasy sports leagues. It started about two weeks ago.

I lost the very top of the Menu bar: Menu, File, Edit, Tools, Help section. I see that I am not the only person to say this. How do you get it back? I uninstalled and re-installed but got the some missing section.

Your latest updates HIDES the Mac dock. Some people will lose their minds. They won't know to go to System Prefs, Choose DOCK, and DE-select the button YOU GUYS CHANGE, that is, SELECT, .... arrggghhhhhhhhhhhhh...... to automatically HIDE and SHOW the dock. Stay OUT of my System prefs. Please.

The youtube download add-on has worked like a champ, then suddenly today when I try to download a video, I get "0 bytes." At first, I thought this might be because we just got a new cable modem yesterday, but I've now seen references to youtube changing their site within the last day and that this has caused the problem. Unfortunately, the one thread I saw on this listed the question as "solved" because someone linked to a third-party plugin, but that only works for Windows. I'm a Mac user. Is there hope that Firefox will soon offer an update of the video downloader that plays nice with youtube? Or was my first suspicion, that the brand new cable modem, might be the issue?

All I want to do is connect with MSNBC via Mozilla. But each time I click on the Mozilla icon, up comes Firefox with "updates." How can Firefox believe that it can force its way into my home, seize my computer, and then force me to sit here while waiting for you to do its thing? Leave us alone--if we need updates, allow us to do it AT OUR CHOOSING & not when it delights you!

yesterday my personal firefox tool bar just disappeared. I was NOT fooling around with any settings. I am quite experienced with firefox. ther isn't even a space alloted any longer on the top header for its use.

Is there another update strategy that FF can implements? I understand update is good for security, but other apps are not updating on a daily basis.

I'm trying to change a link into a word that you can click on and still take you to the link. I browsed the web and came up with the Firefox add-on Linkification. I downloaded Firefox and the Linkification add-on but don't know how to use the Linkification add-on.

Following every update to FF, I get the prompt to update the Flash Shockwave plugin, and every time I try I'm sent to a Spanish Shockwave site that I can't do anything with.
