About two years ago, I created an account on Mozilla, and by then I'd already set up two-step authentication using the app's Authenticator. But then I had to reset Windows and lost my backup keys and other stuff. Soon after, I experimented with other browsers and forgot about Firefox (I also deleted the Firefox profile in the Authenticator app). Now I've decided to log into my account, but since I can't log in without the app, I figured there's an option to log in using the email linked to the account (I have access to it), but for some reason, they're asking me for an account recovery key. So, I know my email address and have the password for it, but I can't log into my account without the Authenticator app. To try this alternative, I need to know the account recovery key, but I've lost it too. So, I'd be very grateful if anyone knows a solution to this problem. For reference, I also logged out of my Mozilla account on other devices and I haven't received any emails related to this situation (like checking email, etc.).

My address bar disappeared. I can get it back by hitting F10 but it doesn't stay. How can I get it back and keep it? When I go to the Customize Toolbar setting, the address bar is not there.

I had my work email as my primary and used asimha.cloud@gmail.com as my secondary email. I'm no longer with that company and don't have access to that email. I'd like to use asimha.cloud@gmail.com as my primary email. The work email in question that has to be removed is - simhaaj@vmware.com.

I went through my laptop and turned off enhanced tracking protection for a variety of financial, work, etc. websites.

I was disappointed that this did not sync with my other computers.

Here's hoping Firefox developers will incorporate ETP exceptions into account sync.

I just installed a new version of Linux Mint (Zara) and all is right with Firefox, except the screenshot who doesn't work. The buttons "Capture the visible area" and "Capture the entire page" don't work. The additional tool in the toolbar doesn't work. What can i do, please? Thanks for your answer. Pierre

How do I uninstall Privacy Badger. It's been disabled, but not uninstalled. Please be specific as to keystrokes, screens, boxes, location of item. Many instructions tend to overuse computer jargon or common industry synonyms used daily within their sphere, which a laymen cannot easily translate, and often raise more questions than they answer. I have been using 1Password 7 to manage my login credentials. It includes a Firefox extension to fill in account names and passwords in login alerts and pages.

Firefox 147.0.1 (macOS aarch64) in January 2026 has broken 1Password 7's ability to fill in account names and passwords.

To reproduce: 1. Install 1Password 7 Version 7.9.11 (70911000) and its extension version 4.7.5.90 in Firefox 147.0.1 on macOS. 2. Visit a URL for which 1Password 7 has login credentials. 3. Click on the toolbar icon for 1Password 7. A 1Password 7 dialogue box pops down from the icon, containing the username and password for that URL. 4. Click the Autofill button in that dialogue box.

Observed behaviour: 1. Username and Password fields remain blank.

Expected behaviour: 1. Username and Password from 1Password 7 appear in the Username and Password fields.

For approximately the last three months, there was a partial failure similar to this. 1. 1Password 7 popdown dialogue moves from the toolbar icon to the Firefox tab for that URL. 2. Username and Password fields remain blank. 3. Workaround: click in the username field, then tab 2-4 times to further UI objects in the login credentials form. Then click the 1Password toolbar icon, then click the Autofill button in the popdown dialogue. Then, the Username and Password from 1Password 7 appear in the Username and Password fields.

The expected behaviour occurs for the same URLs in Safari.

Thus I suspect that Firefox has somehow changed its behaviour in the last few months to cause this regression. I have not changed the 1Password software versions in this time, because I am intentionally using a previous version of 1Password.

I am looking for a fix or workaround which works with my current 1Password software version. I am not interested in a solution which requires me to upgrade to the current version of 1Password. (The current version of 1Password imposes a feature which I am resisting.) I realise that this reduces the chance that I can persuade the Firefox team to find and correct this regression.

I no longer have access to the gmail i used to sign up Moxillla Account since they deleted it wrongfully. How can i change my moxilla email to another one? I tired to add secendary email on Moxilla but i need to first fill the verification code which is sent to my now-nonexistant gmail. Please help me.

A heart has recently been included in the Firefox icon in my taskbar. What's the reason for it and what do I have to do so that the Firefox icon no longer has it? I've run a number of antimalware programs and they came up with nothing.

I recently updated to 147.0.1, and now it seems I can no longer access word/excel/powerpoint files for online editing. I have already tried clearing cookies, disabling adblockers, disabling tracking protection, running in a private window, all the way down to completely reinstalling Firefox 147 fresh. This has persisted for roughly a week, so it does not seem to be an issue with my own network connection, nor with Microsoft's services, nor my files specifically since I can edit the files online from my PC at work. The error message specifically reads:

We can't connect to the server at usc-excel.officeapps.live.com (or usc-word-edit.officeapps.live.com or usc-powerpoint.officeapps.live.com, respectively).

I could previously access these files to edit when I was still on Firefox 146, so I'm guessing it's something going on with 147. Has anyone encountered similar issues with Web Office apps, and perhaps found a resolution?

how to add Yahoo search as default search engine if Yahoo is missing on Firefox Search. on Search setting i can see different engines Google, Bing, Ebay, etc. but there is no Yahoo.
