firefox starting Thursday 6/15 would not connect with etrade sighting "waiting for nexus - ensighten.com"

Hello All, I am having issues with my firefox on one of my PC'S going to my office365 online portal for one of my emails. On this PC I am no longer able to authenticate my office 365 account in Firefox. Each time it asks me to login, it tries but then gets stuck going to the and ultimately says

"Microsoft Pick an account "We couldn't sign you in. Please try again."

Use another account Terms of use Privacy & cookies ..."

It seems to be the url https://portal.microsoftonline.com/landing when it gets hung up.

I have tried different security settings and clearing cookies, refreshing Firefox, etc. and no success. By on other PC's I can use the way it works on this PC in edge FYI. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance. Chris Ford softwarereality@gmail.com

I have Google Chrome installed and I have now installed Firefox. When I try to browse in Firefox I am directed back to the Google Chrome browser. However the website that I am trying to reach won't work properly with Google Chrome which is why I need to use Firefox. What should I do?

I am a longtime Firefox user. Recently, I have been unable to connect to the website E-Trade. I called E-Trade and they said the problem is at Firefox and they are working on it. Is that true? You are working on it. When will it be fixed?

I installed what I thought was the "trust wallet" extension. It's not the real trust wallet. I had a little over $5K stolen in BTC, ETH, and SOL. Is there any way you can help me catch the individuals or somehow get back my stolen funds? Or any advice or direction will be helpful.

I have literally been crying for what seems like the past hour because I have been locked out of my actual firefox account. I didn't know how to make a "recovery key" before, and I never realized that forgetting this password would literally lock me out of all of my log-ins. Is there any phone number I can call? I need urgent help. I've been trying to guess my password by using stupid passwords I always tend to use, and that isn't working as I keep getting locked out. Can I get in touch with a developer or staff member who can please help me? My system:

Acer VERITON MN: VM4630G-i7477X 32GB Ram 256GB SSD program drive 1-TB HDD data drive Win10Pro 64-bit with Taskbar configuration manager "7+TaskbarTweaker" FireFox v 114.0.1 (64-bit)

Problem:

I normally keep five (5) (or more!) FireFox windows open with over 43 tabs between them.

Each window can have from 4 to 20 tabs.

Whenever I shutdown, reboot & restart FireFox the order of the FF-windows shown in the Taskbar is never the same.

Prior to shutting down I have ordered the FF-windows the way I want them, but upon rebooting and restarting FF the FF-windows are never in the same order.

What to do?

Is there a setting I've missed?

Hello. I can't copy and paste in Figma in Firefox whatsoever, both plain text and images. Tried doing it in Vivaldi and that browser showed a dialog prompt asking whether or not I want to allow the page to access the clipboard. I granted the permission and it's working there now. Can I do the same in Firefox somehow?

Firefox 114.0.1 on Windows

I have recently updates to Windows 10. In the past PDFs uploaded via Acrobat. Currently they are uploading vi Firefox viewer. I have been able to SELECT portions of the file then SAVE AS . This included save as type.

The PDF displays ok. BUT I cannot find a way to SELECT . The TEXT SELECTION TOOL is not working. Is it just me?

Should I change to ADOBE and if so how do I do that?

My bookmarks keep multiplying and duplicating and I can't delete them. I've signed out on all other devices, refreshed FF, stopped sync, Other than a new user account, I'm not sure what else to do

My computer 'guru' reinstalled Win10 in order to correct a serious problem. ALL of my programs were gone and I was left with a raw Win10. 6/12/2023 was last date prior to the disaster. I reinstalled Firefox. Using the "firefox.exe -p" I can only find the default profile. I DO HAVE a full backup done using the Win7 Backup and Restore feature. How do I resurrect my most recent profile? I will need to find the files(s) manually from the b/u. When I did a Full Restore the bookmarks didn't appear. Where and what files am I looking for? The new GPG subkey’s fingerprint is ADD7 0794 7970 0DCA DFDD 5337 E36D 3B13 F3D9 3274, and it expires 2025-05-04.

But when i import this key(certificate) with gpg4win it shows me this fingerprint: 14F26682D0916CDD81E37B6D61B7B526D98F0353 which is the same one listed here: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/114.0.1/KEY

Both keys have the same fingerprint when i import them from either of the above websites, why does the key from the first link not match what the website says?

When i use the sha512.asc to verify the integrity of the downloaded firefox installer which i got here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/114.0.1/SHA512SUMS.asc Then the result is invalid. - See attachment below.

I recently noticed that in the settings it says "Your browser is being managed by your organisation". The certificate "ImportEnterpriseRoots" seems to be affected. I have seen guides saying to delete a registry key but I do not have a Mozilla folder in my policies.

It is worth noting I do run two anti virus software. Kaspersky total security and gridinsoft anti malware. Just wondering if there is a way to permanently remove this or if its just a side affect of my anti virus software.

Hello! For some reason I can't add separate icons for extension quick menus to the address bar area and am only able to add the extensions "master" button which shows a list of extensions without going to the settings page. I've tried to go to customize toolbar to add the extension icons to the bar but none of them show up, and I know for a fact that the extensions have icons, I've added them to the bar on other computers.

When I click a mailto link it brings up the GMail app. Instead I want the Yahoo Compose window. Several posts suggest various arcane methods. Either they do not apply or they require hacking. Has the situation improved?

How can I make mailto links go to the Compose window on mail.yahoo.com?

I sent in this problem before. Someone needs to look into why I cannot connect to the website Etrade. For years there was no problem. Now it will not connect. If this problem is not solved I am going to change my browser and tell everyone I know to stop using Firefox.
