The website mylotto.co.nz has been blocking Firefox for many months now and when I rang them to find out what the problem is they just say they are having problems but it was obvious that the person there was reading a script and fobbing me off. This has been going for many months now a problem would have been fixed by now. I would like to know if you can bring pressure to bear on them to get reinstated again. I have a System 76 laptop running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. The LTS (Long Term Support) ended years ago with Firefox 66. All of that works fine still. My problem is: 1. The world is telling me to upgrade my browser. 2. Mozilla tells me "Note: If you use your Linux distribution's packaged version of Firefox, you will need to wait for an updated package to be released to its package repository. This article only applies if you installed Firefox manually (without using your distribution's package manager)." 3. There will never be an updated package because LTS has ended. 4. IS THERE A WAY TO MANUALLY INSTALL A NEWER BROWSER LIKE FIREFOX 123?

I have just udated nightly. the tab hover shows a bunch of useless info. is there a way to get rid of it? apart from the image, that seems to be tweaked ibn settings for now, I don't need such a verbose mode. every usual surfer needs just and extended reading of the page title, that is usually cut when you have many tabs. I switched to FF because chrome conf made it unusable. hope FF isn't going into the same direction. Thanks for any help. andrea.

While hovering over a Youtube video it shows the full video title as "hover text" if the tab is focused. However, if something else, even another Firefox window is focused hovering no longer shows anything. Is there some kind of setting to change that? I figured it could be browser and Youtube specific because Chrome shows it on Youtube even when not focused, but neither browser shows it on Google search for example, but I'm not sure.

Hello, I am a tinkerer and I would like to tweak my Firefox Developer Edition to suit my tastes, but I don't know what each of the preference commands does. Could you provide a list explaining what each command does and, if possible, how to use them? I don't want to reinstall Firefox.italic text I prefer to do things properly. Thanks

I started getting "can't load XPCOM" errors when starting Firefox. I did a full uninstall, then attempted to install the new version, I still get the same error during the install.

In my settings under Connected Services there is a list of devices that have signed into my firefox account. I do not recognize one of them. The Connected Service listed name is Firefox Mobile 126, Android 14. How can I find out where this is coming from?

I've been using a Rewards site regularly (3/4 times per month) for several years without problem. This weekend the attached pop-up appeared. It makes no difference whether I select Resend or Cancel, the program just re-displays the pop-up trapping me in an endless loop. The only exit is to close the window and abort the process. I was able to complete the task without any problem using Edge instead so it appears to be a Firefox specific issue. I haven't consciously changed anything since last using the site successfully on 24 May. Any help/suggestions appreciated.

Using Firefox for webmail, There used to be an option to spellcheck a "Composed" message before sending it. Probably after a recent "upgrade", that option seems to have disappeared. True? Can I get the facility back in some way?

When i click ctrl only ctrl its maeks tab smaller like ctrl + - but i only press ctrl also when i hold scroll i can smooth surf the tab now it dont work what i have to do?

Firefox provides the option to Remember search and form history under custom settings. I want the browser to remember search history but not remember form history. Is there a way to separate these two settings?

When I try to access Developer Community from Visual Studio 2022 ('Send feedback' 'report a problem') the banner displays with selection items but no content is displayed. This has been a problem for several months (years maybe). I now have a problem that I cannot solve and I need to report it and I cannot if content is not displayed.

ok what im having issues with is is kixeye.com.... instead of this site it keeps going to https://m.kixeye.com/. instead of www.kixeye.com. there is no option to change it to the desktop site like when im on my phone

any help rectifying this would be a great help

My Firefox is up to date but this will not stop popping up! I have repaired, reinstalled. Still getting the below.

When I click on a dropdown the settings automatically open in a new tab. For instance when logging into something and choosing my password and/or username from a dropdown, when I click on my choice a new tab suddenly opens with the settings menu - specifically the autofill thru permissions area in the "privacy and security" submenu. Just started doing this randomly the other day so I rebooted the computer and that fixed the problem, but its now started doing it again. Please help?

Firefox recently 'crashed' on my desktop PC. It asked me to restart in safe mode or restore to the original state. I chose to restore. This meant that I had to re-add all of my add-ons and log back into my favourite sites as my log-in details had disappeared. I got everything back to normal eventually, except for one very important site. I am now no longer able to log on to my bank website to review my accounts. I get an error message on the site saying " Log on error. You need to enable cookies in your browser to logon to Internet Banking." I have never had this problem before. I am able to log on successfully on my tablet, and also via a different browser on my desktop PC. I'm not a tech expert so this is very frustrating. I've tried clearing cookies/cache/data in the settings but no success. I really need to access my bank accounts on my desktop as I find this easier. Hopefully you can help as I don't want to use a different browser.

Hi, having an issue where new tabs crash while browsing.

Will be fine for 30 minutes or so but opening a new tab/clicking on a bookmark leads to Gah. Your tab just crashed.

Using a working tab is OK as long as I stay on the same site.

All drivers are updated.

Once it happens, I close my browser and I am then fine for a while.

Removed all themes/add-ons in case of conflict but still same issue so re-added.

Any advice appreciated.

Hello According to this thread I set the values:

«browser.bookmarks.openInTabClosesMenu» → «false». «browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground» → «true».

But when you click on "Open All in Tabs" in the bookmarks menu, it redirects to the first tab to open, that is, the value "browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground" does not work.
