I have a 2012 MacBook Pro, still using maverick's … I tried to upgrade Mozilla and now it doesn’t work.

I am shy of what’s needed to run the latest Firefox version and I’m not able to buy a newer laptop, how can I get restated again with the version that will still work on my MacBook ?.

Background: I need to run an enterprise web app on selected PCs and Macs, the browser will not be used for browsing, do not highlight security risks.

I must absolutely use Firefox 48 because it is the latest version to support showModalDialog()

I installed Firefox 48 on Windows and everything is ok, it works as it should.

On MacOS Sequoia, on the other hand, Firefox starts, the menus in the “Apple” bar at the top are usable, but the browser window is totally transparent, only the border and title bar are slightly visible.

I read on the support forum that it might be enough to disable hardware acceleration, but I can't do that because the options page doesn't even show!

I tried to search for it online but i wasn't able to find any because the software i have for firefox now won't let me open some pages on websites because i have a old version firefox software. So please send me the 115.0 version software so that i can download and update my firefox software. Thank you

I have a new MacBook Air with the M3 chip. I cannot login to my Costco account on this Mac. I can log in using my old MacBook and my iPhone. I am using the same settings as the ones on my old Mac. What seems to be the problem? Is it the new chip?

There are reports of conflicts between Firefox performance and Sequoia, how to resolve it? I would like to update from my current MacOS and I‘m not willing to give up Firefox as my primary browser. Could I get advice when it‘s save to update? Best regards RB

I got a password manager app but ended up uninstalling it. In the process, the normal insertion of my user name and password on accounts I use no longer happened. The information is still in my password file on my iMac, but when I access, for example, my bank, I have to enter my user name and password by hand. Before I tried the password manager (Roboform), there was no problem.

The "restore previous session" function stopped working today. My privacy and security sessions are set to REMEMBER HISTORY. I have restarted my Mac. I have the latest version of Firefox. Why does it no longer work?

Hello, I have a MAC computer. For some reason, when FIREFOX made its newest update, I can no longer watch videos on YouTube. The video will start but then give me the death circle, and it will not come out of it unless I click just a slight distance away on the timeline of the video. Then, the video will go for about 20 seconds and do the same thing. I continually have to click on the timeline in front of where it stopped when the video stops, and then it will give me about 20 more seconds of the video before the white arrow circle shows up again. You can wait all day for the circle, but it will not start again unless you click on the timeline again ahead of where it froze.

Can MacOS High Sierra play Netflix? I cannot update to the most recent Firefox because my 2012 iMac cannot update to Catalina. Netflix says I need a new version of Firefox. How can I use Netflix on my iMac?

I downloaded the latest version of Firefox. The directions tell me to open the file that i just downloaded, which is fine, except that I don't know the file name or location. What is it, and where is it? or how do I f find out?

Hi My version of Firefox will not be supported after Jan 14th - I can't download an updated version of Firefox because my Mac is IOS 10.10 and apparently it needs to be at least IOS 12. I want to know whether I can update my current Firefox version with my very old desktop setup. I am using the Firefox browser version 78.15.0esr (64-bit) on my iMac 2007 running OS X El Capitan. This notice came up when opening Firefox: " Your version of Firefox will start to have problems on January 14. A root certificate will expire, causing some preferences and other features to stop working. On March 14, 2025, add-ons and more features will also break." Following the instructions to update, in About Firefox window, it checks for updates and then shows Firefox is up to date. I've interpreted this as there's no version available that I can update to. Is that correct?

I use a 2009 Mac Mini running OS 10.11.6 dedicated for streaming. I was prompted to update Firefox to ESR which I did, replacing the older version of Firefox. The new version will not open.

It was the only browser I had. Can I undo the installation? Or download 78.15.0 somehow to restore the functionality of this Mac?
