Hello there,

Before (an update perhaps?), it was possible to click on a star icon located in the toolbar and it'd open the bookmarks like the bookmarks1 screenshot. Now, it requires to first click on the sidebar thingy, which allows to access the icons on the far right, which includes the bookmarks icon in question.

There's also another icon for bookmarks that can be put directly in the toolbar (bookmarks2 pic), yes, but it doesn't show all the bookmarks right away, it's not the same

So the question is: how do I do to get the Ctrl B Icon/shortcut directly in the toolbar, like it was before? I don't want to be obligated to use the sidebar when I have plenty of space left in the standard toolbar..

Hide URL icon in Firefox address bar The URL displayed in the Firefox address bar has a pinned icon. What on earth is this? I can't hide or delete it, and I'm having trouble. If you have any advice on how to solve this, please let me know.

Moments ago I rebooted my computer after a long day of heavy use (it's old). After rebooting and opening my Firebox Browser, I noticed all my Bookmarks were gone. I created a Firefox Bookmarks Export file on another desktop computer using a thumb drive and plugged it into my current desktop computer, and imported the Bookmarks. Great. They all seem to be there again. But the entire appearance of all the websites I regularly use have changed. I use Google Calendar and all the colors are gone. On my other computer, all the different tasks I've created still retain their colors with white lettering, but on this latest version of Ubuntu machine after the reboot, all by tasks are plain white with Black lettering. I compared the settings for Appearance on my two different computers and they are exactly the same. I couldn't Login to X on this machine after doing so numerous times, and after I logged into Bluesky, the appearance was completely different. I don't know what happened. The two attached screen grabs show the difference between this computer and my other one which still shows the color combinations that I want back within Google Calendar. Any idea what went wrong? Also, I tried to click the checkbox below that says, "Email me when someone answers the thread," and I could not. It wouldn't accept the check mark.

The search bar in Firefox is positioned on the right side, which doesn’t work well for me as a network engineer. Is there a way to customize it so that I can move the search bar to the left side of the toolbar?

Is there a way to change the size of the sections in Firefox? For instance, I don't need so much space for the listings of Inbox, Sent etc. or the Tabs but would like to have more space for the web pages themselves. I ask because I've got a sight impediment and have to increase the text size. This means that the web "window" (Sorry, don't know the correct terminology) is so big that I have to scroll down to see it.

So I just noticed an odd thing today. In the URL bar there is a new icon listed as 'add to taskbar' and 'toggle reader view'. The former interests me more than the latter. I get the idea behind it, but it's not really for me. Is there a way to remove these from the URL bar? I looked in settings, but didn't see anything. So if it's not there, I'm guessing it needs to be fixed in about:config? If so, where do i look for these?

i just want to be able to add drag space to the top of my browser so i can move the window easily while it's maximized. i have been unable to find the customization section of firefox options and there is also no place on this website to speak to an actual member of support staff. this should be simple

New to Mac. I have HDR in Safari, but cannot find out how to enable in FF 140 ESR. I do have Wide Gamut enabled and working.

Is there a way to turn this feature on?

i got the new update but i have one problem. where is the home button on the toolbar? i would like to just press that like before instead of opening a new page and closing the old one
