Hello, I can't access the home router. 192.168.1.1 results in "Secure Connection Failed" and nothing can be done. How can I solve the problem?

I have it set in setting to open in Firefox. it is continuing to automatically download all PDFs and it is eating into my data! please help. I have to get this to stop or I will no longer be able to click on any PDFs with Firefox anymore. I have also tried setting it to always ask, but if I do that and then tell it to open, then it STILL DOWNLOADS THE FILE! I cannot understand why anyone would ever want files they just wanted to read to just randomly download. I am a genealogy researcher and used to click on dozens of PDFs a day to read, now I can't with Firefox or I won't have internet for half the month after I use up my data. There has to be someway to stop this, I don't like other browsers, but right now, if it involves a PDF I have to use a different browser. (also quite annoying to have to delete multiple files that I never wanted to download - I was using Firefox to pay a bill and downloaded it SIX times) Please help!

Why do the menus take so long to load? I can't even get the bookmark menu to appear after clicking bookmarks. FF just sits there and says not responding? The browser is unusable like this. I think FF got worse in its performance back when it was made so it opens so many separate processes to operate. It worked better before that change was made. Now it doesn't load menus fast when clicked. When I click bookmarks it goes into never never land.

I get search results from the united kingdom vs the united states where I reside 100% percent of the time. I get the search results not all the time maybe 40%. I don't mind so much but some time its a nuisance. I live in New Hampshire in (New England in the USA) What can I do to fix this?

I love using Firefox but was very surprised. First thing I do is run anti spyware software to clear all the cookies, etc. Then, I opened a private window and access some of my private information. Closed the browser. Then ran the anti spyware again only to find 3 files that were found as invasive. I thought if I used the private window I was protected. What happened? Did I misunderstand?

This problem appears to have been around for years. However, I have never experienced it. I installed Firefox 105.0.1 (64-bit) on 2022-09-24 and since then I have been experiencing it. The PC freezes and the only solution is a reset. When I check the logs I find: Warnings like this: The Desktop Window Manager process has exited. A couple of days ago I installed version 105.0 (64-bit) and the problem hasn't occurred yet.

So, I conclude the problem is with version 105.1.

Part of Log-in details is saved by firefox, despite being marked -not save (exception).

So, half of banking log in detail is disclosed.....Happened since latest firefox update recently.

So something off has been happening to firefox with me recently, I am having like visual errors and firefox has been acting weird lately, I remember yesterday when I was going to bed I noticed one of my tabs in firefox was flickering pink and what not, And I kinda thought it was a bug and closed itt off then closed firefox off and went to bed, Cue today same thing happened expect the effect was much more bigger, The screen was flickering alot with pink, Some display errors, And I am noticing pink lines that are still there ontop of my tabs and browser entirely, The other windows are not affected by it, Something is off, The screen was flickering in a way like I can see my desktop entirely along with the browser page and so on

I actually do not know the reason but I do feel like its firefox related, Yes I disabeled hardware acceleration and so far I still see the pink lines, Yet nothing is happening aside from the pink lines and I still don't trust it

Hello. I have an online bookstore that links through Amazon in order to allow my visitors to purchase my books. With my latest book entry (not the dozen others from the past) I am suddenly gettting this error message (SEE ATTACHED FILE) below about embedded links. Is there a way I can get a workaround? I am also sending this request to my hosting site (Squarespace) to see if they have a workaround. The odd part is my other dozen books, which were linked many years ago, do not display this error when their embedded link is clicked.

After downloading Windows 11 the scroll bar for email lists in SmarterMail no longer appears. I don't have this problem with MS Edge, but I'd like to keep using Firefox.

Using the latest version on my 5 y/o windows laptop (as of Sept 18th) and the laptop went totally black, the system could not be booted so I went to a PC repair shop. Technician said its problem is that the SSD is too old and a new laptop is recommended.

I use Firefox since day 1 of that laptop and after a long time I forgot the password. Now I have my new PC and need data from my old Firefox account (not this one), including bookmarks, passwords and read lists.

What to do???
