Google page will not search anymore unless I trick it into working for me !! If I enter search term it simply won't budge, but sometimes if I click on images then back to regular it will pop up the results. That doesn't always work though. Another way it works perfectly is in private browsing mode. Google is refusing to work with Firefox and I have updated Firefox twice now. Other sites work fine. I also have complaint google forced me into a google account when I made a youtube account and this problem may be associated as it happened same week. Also google signs me into google whenever i sign into youtube, that really pisses me off as i had no idea it was doing that until I noticed I was "signed in" on a google page I opened. Anyone could have accessed my google/youtube acct. and password while I was unaware of this from that computer. Now I open google and sign out there after i sign in to youtube !!! What a piece of work google is for doing this crap.

Everytime I try to log on to any website that requires a username & password, I receive the following error: SSL protocol has been disabled. I have tried all of the suggested solutions to this issue - but to no avail. I cannot log on to yahoomail. gmail, hotmail, ebay, paypal, or any other site that requires a user name and pass word. Internet Explorer works just fine - and again I have tried all the solutions suggested on the firefox support forum - but none have worked

For years, the presentation by Ancestry.com has been static, but after the ver 3.6.8 update, the presentation is changed (larger - harder to use). When I check the same website using IE8, it looks just like it always looked. I "cleared my cache" per Firefox FAQ - but nothing changed. For years I have preferred Firefox, but I am going to switch back to IE8 to overcome the presentation problem.

I am running FF 3.6.8 and it does mention like a plug in fix so I thought that was it but I guess not. I already reformat my laptop twice in 1 week and I still got the problem. It says I should update to latest flash even though I have it. I have been reading the same problem in other sites and the whole delete cache thing just doesn't work. Can anybody be more specific on what is going on?

none of your suggested solutions offered during the past several months have resolved the problem of firefox 3.63-3.68 disengaging from gmail and google on a daily, and random, basis. [i even tried disabling every add-on and plug-in, and the problem keeps recurring.]

i cannot function as a writer when this message shows up randomly every single day:

"The connection was interrupted The connection to www.google.com was interrupted while the page was loading.

   * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
         moments.
   * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
         connection.
   * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."

other than try your suggestions, it's not not my job to fix it. if it's up to me, why should i stick with it, rather than move on?

perhaps, you should request that users donate $1-$2 a year to mozilla in return for fixing recurring problems like this. or, charge for the bloody thing with support that works for its customers [now there's an idea!].

anyway, thanks for your attention to this, and kudos to the volunteers who keep trying.

regrettably, tho, at least for this user, it's not working.

In the Photos section of my Yahoo group site, I can open the "Medium" version of a photo, but when I click on the "Large" and "Original" versions, no pic, just the title of the photo. I've asked Customer support at Yahoo about it, they made suggestions, none worked, they said they didn't have any other suggestions. When I go to the site in Internet Explorer, there is no problem, I can open all three sizes of a photo. I've opened FF in safe mode, disabling all the addons and still can't open those pics. I have the latest version of FF and Quicktime needed updating, which I did--still no luck.
