I followed the instructions to set a security and there is no option to do it. I need to be able to login to all of my gmail accounts. The correct password was used, and is shown when I click the key icon and is accepted on other browsers. What is the problem and how do I fix it?

Hello, about 3 - 4 weeks ago I used my Yubikey to login to a secure site via Firefox. Yesterday I again tried to login to the same site using my Yubikey and failed. An error messaged appears as per the screen shot. I then tried another two browsers (Edge, Vivaldi) and succeeded in using both browsers to login using my Yubikey. I also was able to login to (using my Yubikey) the same site via Firefox on my laptop without issue. My two firefox apps are not linked in any way. Has anyone else had this issue and know of a way to fix the problem?

I manged to find and lose a reddit post that discussed the same problem. In the end the reddit author said it was a windows issue and fixed via the settings app in windows. I have tired this but this doesn't appear to work. Regardless I am also reaching out to the Windows community to see if they can help.

What happened: 1) I wanted to create a Passkey for a website and store it in Bitwarden. 2) Bitwarden pop-up opened, but while exploring the options, I accidentally clicked on the option "Use your device or hardware key: Always for this website". 3) Windows Defender dialog popped up with the options "iPhone, iPad or Android device" and "Security key" 4) I backed out of the dialog window 5) I clicked the button to create a Passkey again but going forward only the Windows Defender pop-up appears

The problem: I now cannot create a Passkey to store in Bitwarden on a specific website, because I accidentally clicked on "Use your device or hardware key: Always for this website".

What I've tried that didn't work: - looking through Bitwarden settings - deleting Firefox cookies - doing the same thing in Private Browsing - asking AI and looking through about:config, about:preferences and about:logins, as well as trying to find profile files related to webauth

Found workaround: - creating the Passkey from a different Mozilla profile

I would still very much like to be able to undo the "Always for this website". Is there a way to do that? (Attached images were captured later when recreating the situation.)

One Home/House. Two PCs. a. WINDOWS 1O b. LINUX 22.3 Both share One Mouse One Keyboard One Monitor. I have a FIREFOX account and have joined both PCs to MOZILLA. I have activated, deactivate and successfully used FIREFOX SYNC. I keep getting emails from MOZILLA stating that someone else signed on to my email acct. and a MOZILLA supplied a 6 digit code to confirm. I know it was me, so I confirm using 6 digit code and no problems. My question is. Who, How or can I inform so MOZILLA/FIREFOX recognizes both PCs. Also. Have been thinking about purchase of a YUBIKEY/KEYs for security. I know, for loss prevention, it is best to purchase 2 Keys. But can a single YUBIKEY be shared on both PCs. Or, do I need to purchase separate keys for each PC? So 4 Keys... 2 Keys for the WINDOWS 1O and 2 keys for the LINUX PC?

I am unable to use passkey with the 150.0 (64-bit) update of firefox. I get a message "The operation is insecure." when trying to create a new passkey and when attempting to use a passkey that has worked for months I now get "Passkey authentication error: The operation is insecure." Unfortunately the same day Microsoft patches were also applied, KB5086096 KB5086097 KB5091596 KB5082417 and KB5083769, 26200.8246 which could also the the problems, but firefox is reporting the error, so I am contacting you. This in on a Windows 11, version 24H2 system.

1: By logging in to my account I am asked to "Enter two-step authentication code"

Upon my knowledge I do not have anything like this. Can I still log in by using my old username and my normal pasword and the be able to sync between my different PCs ?

2: How to sync my EDGE Bookmark list to my Firefox ?

I have been getting problems with profiles under 2 separate account after trying org my work in to workspaces in a recent transfer to Linux mint. Some of the obstructions did not make sense such as enter your email and we will ask things only you know in attempting to check what was wrong with my pass. But the interface will simply not respond getting me stuck unable to proceed. So went on my handsets that corresponding to these two profiles to sort why correct pass was not opening the way. In one of them it simple and one reason I don't like so-called rec key. The 2nd required rec key and after keying that long thing I was able to see the pass and it is what it is. Now however my rec key needs replacement so click download which broughtbup indicating it was download but nothing. Went and my download folder, notification , even Documents... Nothing as I am sure this may lead to problems in the future of not soon and wanting to get my organising over asap, I want to tell somebody in charge to help address the problem

I have lost access to the primary email on the account. I have 2fa setup on the account and I have backup recovery codes. When I go to add another email it sends a code to the primary email, which has no access. Is there a way to use either 2fa or backup codes instead of the code sent to primary email?

Trying to sync Firefox to my mobile device. I get to this point where Firefox on my computer says:

Enter authentication code to continue to account settings Open your authentication app and enter the authentication code it provides.

It wants a 6 digit code. But I don't have an authentication app. How can I set one up for Firefox to sync to my mobile device?

Hello, On March 1, I worked with the Mozilla help team to create a recovery key. Now that I need it, it says it is an MS Dos executable file, and that I can't run that file on my computer. I have tried a few workarounds from google, but really I just need my recovery key. I thought maybe this was because wordpress is no longer available on Windows PCs but I can't open it in word either, it just keeps saying it's an MS Dos executable file.

I really need the recovery key because I can't access anything on one of my computers. Can you assist?

My name is Ayah, and I’m having trouble accessing my Roblox account. After I accidentally clicked on a suspicious link, I was logged out and now I’m being asked for a two-factor authentication (2FA) code that I don’t recognize or have access to.

I believe my account may have been compromised, and I no longer have control over the 2FA settings. This account is very important to me, and I would really appreciate your help in recovering it as soon as possible.

Could you please help me disable the unauthorized 2FA or restore my account?

I've been trying to set up 2fA on my firefox account, the whole process seems to work, I downloaded the backup codes and entered one to confirm and then got confirmation that 2FA was enabled (see screenshot). However, after reloading the page 2fA is shown as being disabled and indeed if I try to log out then in again I'm not asked for a code. I've tried this a couple of times now and it does the same every time. The auth app I'm using is Aegis.

Does anyone knows why this is happening ? Thanks.

[Edit: I just saw that after each time I tried to set it up, in "recent account activity" I add an error saying "Two-step authentication failed" which doesn't really makes sense...]

I'm unable to setup my Two-step authentication on my account. Everytime i do it i do the following steps:

Click to add Two-step authentication Scan the QR code with Ente Enter the code that is generated Download and copy the backup code Enter the copy code

Then i get the following message: "There was a problem enabling two-step authentication. Check that your device’s clock is set to update automatically and start over."

Must have done this like 5 times now and it's always the same. I have checked that the clock it set to automatic. I have tried 3 different computers and 1 phone, it's always the same.

What can i do about this?

Every time I change my password or I try to change my password I get notifications double notifications actually one with an eight digit number one with the six digit number it's going to the same account but it's also going to another account in another town how do I stop this

I recently switched from Chrome to Firefox. Now when I try to login to a platform, my verification codes to my phone are coming through too slow. What is causing the delay?
