A power surge took out my computer during a Windows up date, I could not recover anything, so did a fresh install of Windows........now, I can't get Firefox to bring over my bookmarks. I am so upset and lost right now, I'm sure I'm just missing something to do. Please help.

I had to reload firefox after getting xpcom error messages, now i can't work out how to restore my passwords,bookmarks etc from my sync profile that i set up months before.

Hey hey So On my old system I logged into my FF account did 7 syncs just in case whi all were telling that I'll have all of my stuff right away but.... I reinstalled Windows and... installed Firefox and got freaking 00000000 zeeeero tabs or passwords synced.... All of the manual attemps of sync got nothing, absolutely nothing!? So what was the point of online account which does nothing and just give a fake faith??? I would rather do cp -r of local foler as I did for the last 20 years.... But this time I was faked with fake "sync all good" which doesn't work and just fake people

I had some issues with Firefox so I removed and I reinstalled it. I had a Firefox account with sync enabled on since one year ago. However after the update, I couldn't recover my old profile: my bookmarks are gone. I don't know what to do. None of the guides were helpful. With an account and sync on, should have been enough to restore my data, right?

I had experienced the dreaded "XPCom error" and had to do a clean reinstall of Firefox (I know, I should've followed the rule of saving anything important in 3 separate locations.) I had re-logged in and noticed I didn't have any of my bookmarks or anything. Am I out of completely out of luck in this case of trying to get anything back?

I recovered them once by choosing a different default profile. Then the next time I opened Firefox both the saved profiles had no passwords.

I can find the referred files on the desktop, but don't see real steps on what to do with them, and if they're the ones in the now password list-less profiles they will be useless anyway.

I really don't know what to do. It seems every time I open Firefox it updates and half the time I lose all my bookmarks, all the time I have no passwords. Right now I have bookmarks but no passwords on the desktop. I have everything on the Android phone only.

I'm on Windows 10 still on the desktop, but my windows 11 surface pro 8 now seems to have lost passwords, too!

Is there a way to download and not lose anything, then import back to desktops?

I'm afraid to sync, in case the desktop takes precedence and erases all my passwords on my phone!

I am seeking assistance with recovering my Firefox data after resetting my laptop.

Before performing the reset, I verified that I was signed into my Firefox account and believed that Firefox Sync was enabled. After reinstalling Firefox and signing back into the same account, my previous data does not appear to be available.

j'ai restaure w11 en supprimant tous les fichiers, puis mise a jour mon compte mozilla qui avait 2comptes 1 perso et 1 pro, pour mettre a jour a 1 compte par session pro et perso et éviter confusions ,j'ai certainement fait une mauvaise manip et je ne retrouve pas mes marques pages et mon organisation . puis je retrouver ces marques pages ???? en me reconnectant a mon compte initial et resynchroniser pour info le mot de passe du COMPTE PRINCIPAL MOZILLA a été changé car les 2 dossiers qu'il incluait avaient la même adresse mail . pour faire simple :

COMPTE PRINCIPAL MOZILLA  : cccc adresse gmail mdp : xxxx123

dessous  : compte PRO  : cccc adresse gmail mdp : xxxx123

dessous  : compte perso  : JJJJ adresse gmail

je pense avoir tt essaye , vu que j'ai restaure w11 et supprime les fichiers je n'ai plus l'anteriorité , le fait que j'ai change le mot de passe du COMPTE PRICIPAL DE MOZILLA a du ecraser les donnes . qu'en pensez vous avec mes remarciements

I am trying to find a way to restore the previous tabs that I had open. All the standard restore procedures out of the History button or elsewhere are not working due to the account change. Here's the background and scenario: Original account created 1 month ago on old Linux PC New PC purchased and Ubuntu Linux 24.04 installed Firefox installed and configured, bookmarks imported from .html file. No sync account was ever signed in to. Open a crapload of tabs that I wanted/needed to interact with (yes, I need a better task management system) Finally decide to log into sync account, successful sign-in Close browser for PC restart. Upon restart, all configurations from 1 month ago on old Linux PC are present, and no previously-opened tabs come back. Restore session/restore tabs/restore browser all are greyed out, no data to access in history anywhere. Signed out of account, closed browser window and restarted. Still displaying config from old sync account even when not logged in (different theme, toolbar settings)

I am unable to locate any files in the pathway Home/snap/firefox/common/.mozilla/firefox that clearly indicate multiple profiles; there is only one distinct profile folder present. I haven't cleared cache or anything, trying to not touch it more. Is it possible to restore or even see the URLs of those tabs from my session prior to logging in to my sync profile?

My old laptop computer completely died. I installed Firefox on my new computer. However, after signing back into Firefox, my stored passwords and tabs were not available. How do I find/recover saved login passwords and tabs? I am a long-time Firefox user and had a lot of stored information that I assumed would follow my account.

Hello, after changing devices, I had to change my Mozilla password because I could not access my password manager at the time. When syncing, I realised everything had disappeared. I still have the old password, have changed it back to the old password, is there anyway for me to get my data, I have no copy of my bookmarks or history or anything?

Hi Firefox Team, I've been a Firefox browser user for the last 5 years and now I'm facing difficulties while loading webpages, Is there any solution to loading the webpages so I can continuously use it...

I lost ALL of my passwords, saved favorites and am so pissed with my inability to retrieve them. I occurred when I was in the sync settings while personalizing firefox. What gives?

I used the new CleanMyMac and the think has removed the passwords from Firefox on my iMac. I still have them on my iPhone in both Lockwise and the Passwords app. Sync doesn't seem to alter anything. Anyone know a way to re-establish these in the iMac's Firefox?
