I wanted to try out the new VPN location feature to access BBC Sounds again. So I set it to UK and opened the website. Yesterday, it worked a single time. Then I had some trouble setting up VPN and profiles and stuff (I can't route all traffic through the public VPN because some pages are in my local network or Wireguard VPN). Today I have a separate Firefox profile and tried again, but it repeatedly doesn't work. I cleared cache, cookies and all the rest, but it keeps redirecting me to bbc.com. My public IP address through Mozilla VPN UK is 63.2xx.xxx.xxx which is registered in the USA, so that VPN location trick is probably useless, fake or broken. Any experiences with that?

I have for years disabled crash reporter on firefox, however it recently crashed 149.0.1 (64-bit) & sent info ANYWAY! it then upgraded to 149.0.2

I am getting a lot of pop-up messages for existing of many viruses on my computer. Please help me protect and then permanently remove these viruses from my computer.

First of all I would like to know why I have to surrender my personal information to get support. If I get one spam email or text I'm going to be pissed and on here looking for the person(s) responsible.

I'm not sure if it's Firefox's VPN or the most recent Windows ESU or a combination of the two, but really weird things are happening when I reboot my system and it tries to enter windows via my local account.

I checked AI and it said yes it is highly probable that the combination of Windows ESU and the newly added Firefox VPN is causing your system to act weird. Recent Windows updates have been known to cause conflicts with VPN software, leading to network issues and system stability. I've turned off the VPN in Firefox and the VPN setting in Windows VPN Advanced Options today. I did notice my system appears to struggle when it hits the McAfee program when trying to load the Windows Desktop Screen.

He also wrote that pop-up ads can be blocked but I don't see that option on Firefox Mozilla. Please let me know how to do this.

What should be my response to these messages? Dismiss closes the particular message, but it is immediately replaced with another similar one. I have no idea what the xxxx.mergenetworkprotocol is or how to use it. It is real or a phishing scam? Is it safe to simply tell Firefox to hide it?

Free youtube downloader wants my age from Firefox to download popular music videos. I am logged in to FireFox and Free YouTube downloader identifies FireFox as my default browser.

This is really an error for Free YouTube Downloader to correct, but many FireFox users must have solved this already. Any advice?
