FireFox version 140.0.2. is not good either! The video upload to Youtube will not start either! Removing cookies did not solve the problem either. This phenomenon has happened before, starting with version 131.0, which was eventually fixed later. (Win10 64 bit)

I am on FF 139.04. I have been there for Months. Suddenly, I see an icon for TAB GROUPS amongst my tabs. I am not able to find how to get rid of the seemingly automatic grouping.

1. How do I get rid of this icon appearing?

2. What does delete tab group do? That is, does it delete the group OR the group and all the tabs in it?

3. Where is documentation for how to use tab groups?

When debug threejs in firefox(windows, not verified in linux), after breakpoint is hit the other web page is un-operational, you can not click the url on other webpage.

you have mager problems with with your fire fox system i have trouble with video links to chat but i don't have any problems using google chrome but it does not have the memory back like your site does i think it might be to do with your software updates i cant find any other logical reason for this problem

I generally avoid the updates. I've been burned a few times too many. So, I always check to see what is actually new. This 140 has two things I like, "Unload Tabs" and "Customize Overflow".

Unfortunately, "Customize Overflow" is missing the MOST IMPORTANT tool for this process. How do you REMOVE existing items that clutter and make a mess of the few tool I actually use.

Please fix and make this a fully useful tool.

I have used Firefox as browser for years. Yesterday, my default search engine in FF was changed to Bing. The settings in FF clearly show my seach engine is duck duck. I cannot open duck duck, because bing will not go away! I tried chatgpt. It gave me three good suggestions and walked me through it, but no success. the AI says its some sort of embedding in an add on or extension. This is well beyond my computer ability. Can you suggest any way out of this? Bing is simply awful!!

I have been having a problem the last 2 weeks. When ob certain pages my browser will suddenly jump to the top, or near the top, of the page. I have mostly noticed it on Walmart when i try to click on the add button or if i remove an item from my cart. It happens on a few other places like Barns and Nobles . Anyone else having this problem? Cant be sure but i first noticed it after one of the last updates. I have tried running my browser in safe mode and disabled all extensions and add-ons but still does the same thing. click and and page jumps to top. click on an item to look at it and the page goes all the way to the bottom.

when signing in to Yahoo mail using Firefox I'm asked to click continue then view a QR code but no code appears. Instead I'm asked to plug in a USB key. How do I set up a passkey on my phone?

Since installing a new version of Bitdefender yesterday I am having difficulty accessing a number of sites I previously used regularly without any problems. I am getting the error message reported in the Subject box.

when i MUTE some tabs (using the native FF tab mute icon on the tab) sound is muted for just that tab. HOWEVER, it also mutes ALL SYSTEM sounds.

This occurs both with my regular profile and using a default profile for my version (which has NO ADDONS).

It seems to depend on the type of delivery of the music. (Or something!)

This occurs for the following URLs:

However, rather interestinly, it DOES NOT OCCUR for the "standard" WRTI radio station:

it seems UNREASONABLE THAT A WEB SITE SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXERT ANY CONTROL upon system sounds.   So, I must presume this is a FF bug; however, I have not posted it as such (having no confirmation from others).

FF 139.04 Windows 10 pro

I'm having issues trying to use the manage colors settings for contrast control. I've been experimenting with changing the boxes for text and background under the "link colors" column, but I don't understand what the second column of boxes on the right side are. I'm actually trying this as a work around for an issue with visited link colors under the use system settings option--they turn purple against a black background so they're almost unreadable. When opening Firefox, the screen turns white before page opens! There is a version that was updated for this issue however,at that time I did not have this issue! After downloading the newer version, I now have this white light issue! I like to mention, my computer never crashed! I believe (134.0.3), was the update that was a fix for the White Screen problem. And, I am using ver-139.0.4 (64 bit) (win. 10-64 bit) I appreciate any help with this issue! Thank you!!! geo (7/6/2025)
