Hello. As the subject suggests, all my tabs were closed on their own when I opened Firefox. Open last session tabs on startup setting is on. I had a few hundreds of tabs, 300+ or something (ik it's a lot). All gone... I had some important searches among them. Is there a way to get all my tabs back? Please help. Thank you.

If you’ve followed a link from another site for an extension or theme, that item is no longer available. This could be because:

   The developer removed it. Developers commonly do this because they no longer support the extension or theme, or have replaced it.
   Mozilla removed it. This can happen when issues are found during the review of the extension or theme, or the extension or theme has been abusing the terms and conditions for addons.mozilla.org. The developer has the opportunity to resolve the issues and make the add-on available again.

Try visiting the page later, as the theme or extension may become available again. Alternatively, you may be able to find what you’re looking for in one of the available extensions or themes, or by asking for help on our community forums.

I've been logged in to my Firefox browser on this laptop computer for at least ten, and probably more like fifteen years, nonstop, so why am I all of a sudden being "disconnected" every time I close my computer, without turning it off, and without having changed any of my settings? We are having periodic micro power outages lately, just long enough to make the microwave clock need to be reset, but I have turned off my computer many times in those years, both sleep/hibernate, and off, no power, so I doubt that's what's causing this, but....Can anyone help me, please -- it is becoming a serious pain to have to re-log in every time I open my computer and go to my browser. When i try and upload any image as a wallpaper i get this text "The image exceeded the file size limit of 0MB. Please try uploading a smaller file."

i tried with some of the default wallpaper options like the solid color ones and they worked perfectly but as soon as i try and set my own i get that 0MB limit along with the wallpaper i was planning on having just being replaced with a solid white image.

(this issue started a few hours ago for me)

Hi everyone.

A few websites for the past month don't work for me on Firefox (WIn10), but work on Firefox Focus (iOS), Edge (Win10), Safari (iOS), etc.

I think maybe it's a configuration issue or a corrupted file or something. I don't have strict tracking protection on, and tried the troubleshooting mode. Or are some sites blocking Firefox Desktop in particular?

I also tried using a VPN to make sure it isn't geo-blocking. Example: https://wikidiff.com/assorted/assortment

I have downloaded and installed the latest update for Firefox. v142.0 64 bit. It is not playing well with Facebook on my Windows 10 pro 64 bit machine. Slow or no response to mouse clicks. I have closed Firefox and reloaded after a reboot. No problem when using a different browser. I have not discovered issues with the several other platforms I visit.

Добрый день. Пару недель назад после очередного обновления браузера (использую ESR, на данный момент моя версия - 128.14.0esr (32-разрядный)) столкнулся с проблемой. Раньше, если я открывал через ссылку на любой странице новую вкладку, она сразу же грузилась через VPN-дополнение. Но сейчас любая ссылка при открытии новой вкладки будто бы открывает страницу по дефолту - и не грузит вообще ничего, может больше минуты пытаться загружать, а потом просто остановиться и повиснуть. Помогает только полное обновление страницы или скопировать ссылку в новую вкладку (можно в той же открывающейся и зависшей вкладке просто нажать "энтер" в адресной строке, тогда браузер всё обновит и загрузит как положено - через VPN). Проверил на нескольких VPN - везде такая фигня. При этом если заранее открыть новую вкладку и просто скопировать в неё ссылку - всё загрузится моментально. Однако это очень муторно делать, когда одновременно со страницы открывается по десять новых вкладок.

Это баг или какая-то новая поднастройка у вкладок, что они открываются по дефолтным настройкам?

I am experiencing a recurring issue with Firefox microphone permissions.

When I visit https://chatgpt.com and allow microphone access, it works for the current session. However, every time I open a new window or restart Firefox, I receive the same “Enable mic access” error from the site. I have to manually re-set the microphone permission through the lock icon each time.

Steps I have already tried:

Manually setting https://chatgpt.com to Allow in Firefox → Settings → Privacy & Security → Permissions → Microphone.

Adding https://chatgpt.com as an exception in Cookies and Site Data (set to Allow).

Clearing site data and resetting permissions.

Confirming microphone access is enabled in Windows settings.

Running Firefox in Safe Mode with all extensions disabled.

Creating a fresh Firefox profile and testing again.

The issue persists across profiles and with no extensions enabled. Other sites seem to remember microphone permissions correctly, but chatgpt.com does not.

System details:

Firefox version: [insert your version, e.g., 128.0.2 (64-bit)]

Operating System: [e.g., Windows 11 Pro 23H2]

Reproducible: Always

Expected result: Once I set the microphone permission to Allow for chatgpt.com, Firefox should persist this setting across sessions.

Actual result: The permission resets, and I have to manually toggle it on each new session.

Please advise if this is a known bug or provide a fix.
