I clicked the Facebook homepage shortcut instead of using my regular bookmark. The page eventually loaded to the login screen, which then led to a Captcha verification screen, and another, and another, etc., until I got back to the login. Whew! Okay. No, not okay, it prompted me to get a verification code by email. I entered the code to log in. It started again. Then again. Cleared cache, etc, restarted browser, all the usual, didn't help. I had to leave for work.

When I got home, I restarted my computer and reset the modem. I removed the homepage shortcuts. Used my regular Facebook bookmark and logged in. Why did this happen? I am now terrified of the Homepage Shortcuts! 🤡💀

I find there are more and more websites I cannot connect to. I tried to watch a Youtube video from a link in one of my emails and this is what I receive: Looks like there’s a problem with this site

link.mail.beehiiv.com sent back an error.

Error code: 404 Not Found What can you do about it?

Check to make sure you’ve typed the website address correctly.

When I click on the "sign in or create account" link nothing happens.

These are only 2 things I'm having problems with there have been other websites.

When I start an email using the FF browser I'll type the address correctly but the text on the screen is gibberish. See attached photo. When I move the cursor to the subject line, the gibberish turns to plain text.

I can't copy it so I took a photo and attached it. I deleted Firefox and then reinstalled it. This did not fix the problem.

How do I fix this problem?

I was having problems with overlays and somehow got to a page that allowed me to turn off overlays....I ignored the warning about some sites would not work properly and turned it on....now most sites do not work properly. I cannot find the page in setting to turn overlays back on. i have uninstalled and reinstalled with no results. I cannot find the page even on my other computers that i did not mess with. Where do i go to turn that switch back on?

I’m facing an issue with Firefox where some quiz websites are not working properly. Pages either load very slowly or sometimes don’t load at all. I mainly use these sites daily, so it’s affecting my routine.

For example, when I try to open this quiz page: http://telequiz.pk/

Sometimes it works fine, but other times it gets stuck or shows incomplete content. I have already tried refreshing the page and clearing cache, but the problem still happens randomly.

Can anyone guide me on what could be causing this? Is it a browser setting, extension conflict, or something else? Also, what steps should I follow to fix it permanently?
