Very often, Firefox asks at startup: “Should I open Firefox every time I restart my computer?” I don’t need this function, how can I remove this request forever?

Unable to "Dismiss" or "Delete History" on one unwanted app icon on Firefox quick connect screen. Many attempts to "Dismiss" won't make it go away. Same with "delete history".

I have a closed Ubuntu installation I use to clone and quickly setup a VM. The closed system uses a proxy with restricted access to the internet, as such I would like to give it systemwide settings that will effect new and existing users.

I have attempted to use /etc/firefox/syspref.js, and apturl.js in /etc/firefox/pref/apturl.js. I have setting in EnvVars for HTTPS_PROXY and HTTP_PROXY pointing at the proxy http://proxy:8080. It seems by default firefox does not look at that.

Secondly I wanted to turn off the site warnings for intranet sites using the following options: pref("security.insecure_field_warning.contextual.enabled,false") pref("security.certerrors.permanentOverride,false") pref("network.stricttransportsecurity.preloadlist,false") pref("security.enterprise_roots.enabled,true")

Seeing as nothing I try seems to be working, and the potentials solutions were for older versions, is there a way I can do this?

When accessing the bookmarks from the top-right of the menu bar (the three line icon), the bookmarks shown are only the recent ones. Would like to see them all bookmarks there. How do I configure that?

I cannot restore a previous session, and I also do not have the option to configure it, since the option is not shown.

In 3-bar menu not show "Restore previous session", and in Menu --> Settings --> General, the option is also disabled. No help document has helped me to solve

The he closed this question as solved. I need this question to remain open until resolved. I was born and raised on the Cherokee Nation near Tahlequah, the capital. I am a native speaker. I would like a means to communicate with my elders who speak English poorly (believe it or not). I want to stop writing letters. Right now, I am using a virtual keyboard but it is cumbersome.

I downloaded Firefox and went to identify my default browser, my Dell has a drop-down menu to ID the default search engine however Firefox is not there. How can I add Firefox to that drop-down?

One small aspect that I frequently struggle with is the small size of the bookmarks dialog pop-up window. When adding or editing a bookmark, the window only shows a very small view of the folders which makes it hard to navigate to the folder I want to place the bookmark in.

I have search extensively for extensions and settings which could provide a larger visualization, so that more of the folder browser could be seen at once, but not found any options.

Can the mozilla team suggest any work around for this, or submit this as a request to increase the size of the viewable folder tree when adding a bookmark?

My bookmarks from an older Firefox version are in JSONLZ4 format and when I convert them to html for import to a current Firefox version it loses bookmarks. Firefox will not allow me to import the original JSONLZ4 file. How do I import my bookmarks?
