The latest firefox desktop update seems to have induced difficulties for my password manager:

1) under the menu tab, clicking 'passwords' opens a new page as if no passwords had ever been used (it has previously held an extensive collection of my various passwords).

2) Also, firefox not asking for my primary password and seems to have no record of it.

*Other profile info (saved pages, firefox preferences) looked intact.

3) following instructions from the mozilla help pages, i refreshed the current profile, then searched for previous profile. none of the other profiles had the missing passwords.

Please, help me find & recover my lost passwords!

Thank you!

Please Help - I'm doing something wrong. Firefox makes me log in to websites when I have saved the password and kept the cookies. Why? Obviously I don't understand firefox's password procedures.

In my settings my user name and password are saved for specific sites. (others I have set to Never remember) Password options are set as follows: Ask to save passwords - ticked Fill usernames and passwords automatically - ticked Suggest strong passwords - ticked Suggest Firefox Relay email masks to protect your email address - ticked Show alerts about passwords for breached websites - ticked Require device sign in to fill and manage passwords - not ticked Use a Primary Password - not ticked Allow Windows single sign-on for Microsoft, work, and school accounts - not ticked

Cookies and Site Data settings are: Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed - ticked In the “Exceptions”/ Exceptions for Cookies and site data option all the web sites which I want to keep and log in automatically are listed with “allow” In other words, I am trying to delete Cookies by default, but keep them for these specific websites, as an exception.

I therefore expect Firefox to automatically log me into those specific websites when I visit them So why does Firefox make me log in again every time I visit those specific websites?

For example, on the Google login web page there is a field to enter your email and phone (username). When I click it, I can see all my usernames, which are stored in the password database. Previously, I could only see the ones I had used previously on that page. Is there any way to adjust this old behavior? Thank you.

When logging into web sites the manage password box comes down when I put in my username. I accidentally opened it and wallah my password screen appeared I was able to cut and paste the password and had to manually close the window. I don't believe it was very secure and I want to get ridge of it all together.

Anyone who knows your email can access every account because of that little box. Please tell me I'm wrong but I don't want password manager on my browser.

I have a password with an @. When I save with password in Firefox, it replaces the "@" with "%40". I have tried deleting the saved password, going into the password menu and manually saving the correct password. However, "%40" keeps reappearing.
