Firefox has always been my workhorse for my business, but after the last update, I can no longer open Firefox on more than one desktop on my Mac. Firefox requires me to designate either a specific desktop to open Firefox on--or to open it on all desktops. This doesn't work for me because on each desktop I open a different site on Firefox. I will no longer be using Firefox for work, and since I was using Firefox because of what I perceived were stronger security measures, I am very disappointed. I really wish software engineers would stop "innovating" and fixing things that are not broken.

In `about:config` I set `mousewheel.with_control.action: 3` quite a while ago, and today, after an update it stopped working. Current version: `146.0.1 (aarch64)`. Any idea why?

When using Firefox on a Mac, how can we set the Mozilla VPN to one specific country for one tab only? There are instructions for doing so, but it's only applicable to Firefox for Windows.

Hey friends, n00b questions - how do I allow pop ups on a website again?

I accidentally clicked too fast and clicked to not allow pop ups again on a site I need a window to pop up.

I went to settings to make an exception for the website, but it still does not work.

Any help please?

This is a bit of an odd question, but I'm gutted. I have pretty severe OCD and AI tools have become very problematic for my reassurance seeking behaviors. I just got all of them blocked using tools like coldturkey and screen time. Now as of this update they're all in my firefox sidebar, and so far I see no way to block, only hide them (the trouble here is I know it's there, if I'm feeling a compulsion it's incredibly difficult not to follow through). Is there any iron clad way to block this? I hate how hard these things are being pushed!

When using the the chat especially when on either of my laptops. I think it would be useful to be able to minimize/hide the chat but not have it completely close so you can stay in the same session.

In my head I see it working by adding a simple minimize button next to the close button. When it minimizes, the icon for the chat can stay highlighted to alert that it is still active. Also, when switching from chat to other options like bookmarks, history or tabs. If there is a current chat open it should use the minimize behavior so the same chat is still active when you navigate back. So essentially the only time the chat closes or resets is when you close it.

Hi It isn't really a question, but it get to know and learn how to use Firefox efficiently before I converted from Safari to Firefox. I knew much more in Safari than in Firefox. Once I know more about Firefox, Firefox will be a default browser in my desktop,mac. Thanks Ted

I don't know which question best describes my question. I have always used Firefox because it had two boxes for searching. This meant that you could type a search into the second box while keeping the first box open. Now that second url box is gone. How can I get it back? I used it all the time!

Look, as previous users have mentioned, many of us use Firefox because it isn't a bloated AI crapshoot. Syncing across devices and having a pretty skin on is nice, but I'm getting tired of having to manually disable the current AI crap just so I can do some basic browsing in peace, and if this browser adds any more of that tripe I'll be done. I don't want to be, I've enjoyed this browser since it was launched and until recently it's been good to me. But if I have to do any more in-system tinkering I'll go back to Safari because somehow we've ended up in a timeline where that of all browsers is coming up top :|

Where is the "New Window" option in file menu of the 152.0.5 version of Firefox? why is there no 'New Window option" in file menu of the 152.0.5 version of Firefox? There is only one option, "New Private Window." If this is the new version of Firefox and I have been a fan and consumer for over 20 years, I am going to use Safari.
