Hello. I have a question about the browser settings in the company. The boss requires you to set up access to the sites through a proxy. We use Microsoft Edge for corporate websites, and Mozilla Firefox is used to work on other sites with electronic signatures. The setup is as follows. 1. The proxy is set manually. 2. The specified addresses are registered in the settings. 2.1. about:config/network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris 2.2. network.negotiate-auth.delegation-uris 2.3. network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris And now the question. I've been logged in to my Firefox browser on this laptop computer for at least ten, and probably more like fifteen years, nonstop, so why am I all of a sudden being "disconnected" every time I close my computer, without turning it off, and without having changed any of my settings? We are having periodic micro power outages lately, just long enough to make the microwave clock need to be reset, but I have turned off my computer many times in those years, both sleep/hibernate, and off, no power, so I doubt that's what's causing this, but....Can anyone help me, please -- it is becoming a serious pain to have to re-log in every time I open my computer and go to my browser. I have had this problem for many years now. When I complete a customer journey on some sites, usually with a payment involved, the final submit button doesn't work at all, and I have to redo the transaction on Chrome.

This happened yesterday on Ryanair's site and, by the time I gave up and redid the journey on Chrome, certain prices went up. So, now I'm losing money :-(

Firefox has been my default browser for a decade or more, despite my husband's teasing me about this issue, but I might have to give up and make the switch to Chrome or Edge. Please help!

Please note that Firefox clears my cookies every time I close my browser.

like the title says, usually at least once a day firefox will just stop loading web pages entirely. more specifically, it gets stuck loading any page infinitely. occasionally if i wait long enough things will start loading again, but usually that time never comes and i have to restart the browser. i'm kind of a tab hoarder so restarting the browser can be annoying in itself, since i have to wait for the browser to load. i'm not really sure how to troubleshoot this with extensions and the like since i haven't noticed any trend in when the problem occurs. weirdly enough, it happened while i was typing this and while every other website fails to load, the mozilla support site is consistently fine. any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

After i sign on to Amazon & some other sites it wants to send me a verification code before I can get on. It says this is Firefox that is demanding this. I am fed up with having to do this. I signed in to my account and the 2nd verification app isn't even downloaded or enabled.

How do I STOP this site: https://wise.com/login From stealing focus from what ever I happen to be doing. This is driving me absolutely flipping nuts! All the searches I've done tell me how to prevent popups or notifications or pages from clicked links from focusing, but none of these helps. I've someone could help before I'm completely bald from tearing my hear out, it'd be great.

I have been using Firefox for years on my Mac Mini and MacBook Pro, sync has never been a problem.

Now I inherited a Dell laptop, after reinstalling Windows 11 I installed Firefox and logged into my account as normal, and then switched back to using my Mac Mini. The next time I closed and then later reopened Firefox on the Mac Mini, Firefox had logged me out of every website, forgot my entire browsing history, passwords, bookmarks, everything. Its all gone with the exception of 4 of my 16 links on Firefox Home.

So I spent an hour fighting MFA, etc. on the websites I use the most, only to close Firefox and have it log me out and forget everything again. That is now its behavior, it loses everything every time I close the app. It does remember my toolbar settings, and those same 4 links on Firefox Home. i rebooted the computer and the problem remains.

Firefox is still logged into my account, it just doesn't sync or remember anything. Doesn't save cookies, history, nothing. Every time i relaunch the app, Firefox home is back in its default state

I also still have an instance of Firefox open on my MBP, I am now deathly afraid of closing the app for worry it will do the same. I also am afraid of using Firefox on the Windows computer, I absolutely cannot break this more.

How do I fix this this quickly and prevent it from ever happening again? I am getting absolutely buried in computer problems at every turn right now and nothing's getting solved. Every fix for weeks not only fails, but inevitably creates a new problem and I'm sorry but I'm going a little crazy and I really need a break.

Current situation: I start Firefox and it starts maximized. When I move the mouse cursor to the lower edge of the screen, the taskbar should unhide but it remains hidden. To correct for this by dragging the window so it resizes (floating window) and then maximaze by pressing the maximize button on top right. Now the task bar unhides as expected.

If I drag the window so it resizes (floating window) and then maximaze by dragging it to the top edge of screen, then the taskbar again wont unhide.

I must do this every time I open a new Firefox window.

I can replicate this whenever I want.

How do I get rid of these pinned tabs on the left? When I manually unpin them, it's only temporary as in another browsing session there will be another one that will get pinned, and I don't know how and why. I want to get rid of that functionality altogether, it's really infuriating. I tried a lot of tips from the web and still nothing.

Hallo und guten Tag, ich habe seit geraumer Zeit eine Mappe - Alte Firefox-Daten - auf dem Desktop. Mit jeder neuen Installation oder Änderung wird darin eine neue Sicherung angelegt. Wie kann ich diese Daten löschen.

Ändern der Attribute geht leider nicht. Bisher lässt sich wg. fehlender Berechtigung nichts löschen

Habe schon alles mögliche versucht . Inclusive CMD und löschen auf Systemseite. Geht aber auch nicht

Wer hat dazu eine Lösung?

Can't get livestream on cowboychurchofbrenham.com to play on my laptop. Says something like "The live stream will begiin shortly." even when it's already streaming (I can view it livestreaming on my phone.) I gave site permission to autoplay "allow audio and video". I can also play saved videos that are posted to the site with no problem. Is there some setting that I need to change?

we use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing Forms and found out that there is an issue regarding lookup fields in Firefox.

When we use autofill and, for example, the lookup field “Country” is filled with the value “SE” because the country stored in Firefox is Sweden, the value remains in the field even though it does not match the values in the field. This is not the case with Edge and Chrome. I have already contacted Microsoft Support, and they said that this is a Firefox-specific problem and not a Dynamics 365 Marketing problem.

How can this problem be fixed?

I have had in the past and again recently had the Firefox Icon disappear from my desktop...in the past I've had to uninstall/reinstall to get it back? Is there anyway to retrieve the Icon without going through a uninstall/reinstall?

• Tabs are lost; must find via History
• Check that identical cases have been present since February
• What is going on, and why is there no back up or update prompt?

I find recovering deleted bookmarks difficult in Firefox. Typically, I am told: "on August 12 you deleted 12,540 bookmarks. Do you want to recover them all and over-write your existing bookmarks?" To which the answer is obviously, no.

What I want is a system much more similar to the Microsoft File Explorer Recycle Bin, which lists deleted files on an individual basis, so if I have deleted a file, I can see its name, the date it was deleted, and where it came from, and I can restore that particular file. Or, since we are talking bookmarks here, recover a particular bookmark.

How can I achieve that? Is it possible?

Hello. I wanted to know whether it was possible to connect another browser data, as I usually use two browsers: Safari and Google Chrome. I added my data on safari when setting up Firefox, but I would like to add the data on chrome as well. Is there any way to do so?
